Thyats a good point, being a good, old-fashioned patriotic Scot it really infuriates me when someones says "is Scotland part of England, then?"
And there is more of an anti-royal feeliong than a pro-royal one north of the border, to be honest

Oh the loud bit might be a tourist thing. I kind of think Brit's are loud, chatty types...lol i laugh when i think about my trip in 02 and hearing people saying , just wait in the queue and wondering wtf they were talking about. |

Personally I can't answer for the whole of england of how they find US American's, some think there sound others well have you seen "Trainspotting"? 
for me tho I find some yanks iritating and pretty rude,
a pretty nice old couple pisst me off once when I was workin within a food outlet, having a go at me cos I didn't have some sort of Milk
