@jade....i think you better take it back to the dealer and demand for a replacement....be sure to test it thoroughly before accepting it.

@london not sure if possible.
Alert everybody! Manufacturers are going 2 use a universal software for updating firmware. I forgot the name but it was announced early this year. SonyEricsson, Nokia, and others have agreed. Im thinking the 668x series60 are apart of this. |

Well we wont see that couple ever get together.
Anyone here not have issues with their 6680 and not like it? Was wondering what default apps are a major improvement from 6620? |

anyone else only allowed to record for 11 seconds on their 6630?
Is there a way to record for longer? |

@prom I have the 6600 and I tried ver. 8.0 and 6.20. Everytime I try to download I get err msg: services -reply unknown and that is directly from the Opera web site via phone, but It is downloaded to my harddrive on computer. I was able to upload other .sis files to my phone except opera.

6630, can record more than 30 seconds? Is this possible with the 6680?
Try on the PC to redownload Opera v8. I'm gonna do a backup right now since I'm home tonight & see if v8 with the AKM file that someone was kind to send me. |

Record what may i ask?
On the 6680-
1. Sound recording is set at 1min and can't be longer.. Real stupid thing as other phones from se etc allow recording depending upon memory
2. Video recording is memory dependant so i'll say unlimited
@prom1 hi man, i have been very busy with college so couldn't check in here. .Was reading the posts though as fast as possible

Sup Paul. I've been working daytime (EST) hours so my posts wont be reflected until early morning your time.
I think there is an app, freeware (?), that'll allow longer recording time on S60 phones.
A review of the N90 is on the my-symbian site. Pretty well done.
Thinking about getting the Samsung D720 as a secondary slider S60 phone.
Goto go for now, till tomorrow peace and enjoy ur S60 phone peeps.
