WooHoo1 Free Internet
Just found out about it lol
I have it working on my Ngage and works on all series 60 as even though you cannot change the port you can do this in Opera.
I would like to know if anyone has any way of making the cookies work, in particular on PC windows as im conecting thru GPRS -> Bluetooth DUN
I am having problems at the moment. the problem being that MSN Works fine after changing the proxy, Mozilla Firefox works after changing the proxy, and i have tried a lot but internet explorer doesnt work at all.
I go to connection settings and change the proxy to the same IP and set port to 8080. After applying the settings and restarting internet explorer the internet starts loading but it stays blank for a while and then recieving The Page Cannot be found. |

I was wondering if this still works for anyone?
I've got a normal 02 pay & go retail sim on an O2 X3 and tried the settings but I always get "Error: Sever not responding 9" I've asked a friend also to try it on a D500 but he also gets the same thing.
Maybe O2 have fixed this so it no longer works ???
If anyone else has an O2 X3 and has tried this can input some info plz?

Ok well its me then, I've tried changing the settings back and forth and turning the phone on and off but still dont work. Same error message. Could it be my phone, O2 X3?
There is however no IP to change but I think that's the Gateway Address as it's the same as the settings appropriate there is DNS and APN however, which have been left untouched.

i got my o2 genie chip the other day,
i had free texts without topping up.
I then wondered if i could use the internet for free,
i went to the o2 menu and tapped get settings, they sent them, and it works all for free!.
I then followed the instructions on how to get mms working:
Text "PICON" to "21400" -- You will get a reply within 48 hours
Then follow the instructions on step 2
I dont know what is up with o2, im getting all these free texts and picture messages for free and im wondering why.
Stupidest company ive ever come across lol

Hi,
I am using a Nokia Data Card D211 with a PC with free O2 and Windows Messenger works. I tried Messenger 7 and this doesn't work. Haven't got round to trying it on my PDA. |

Hi,
Can someone help me. I have been looking for answers for the best part of a day and I am going around in circles!
I have bought a Contract Sony Ericsson P910i on O2 Uk anytime 100. I cannot use the web browser thats on the phone to get on Java websites. I have used Netfront before on a Nokia 6600 on Vodafone.
I have tried downloading Netfront, but I cannot get it to work. I keep getting TCP Connect, which is an GPRS access problem. If I download Opera, I cannot get this to work either.
I am reading much about O2 and them blocking full internet access. I am paying extra for Data with O2, and I dont want to access anything for free. I just want to be happy and be able to access a Java website.
Can Anyone suggest anything that may be able to help me? I am not even sure if I am barking up the correct tree!
Best regards
Barry
PS. thanks in advance
Update. I have downloaded the Vodafone GPRS settings and stuck in my Vodafone sim card and I get the same problem.
