Hmm, why are things changin? 
We meet at starbucks, podium.
Then we decide where to go after.
we will have all the time to think where to go next.
maybe we could go to ksroy's place late in the afternoon. 
since there would be only few people... as mentioned
besides, we're customers, and there's nothing starbucks can put against us.
and besides, my friend told me they once EBed on starbucks... and it was just fine.

Hi,
Mahirap kung ichange natin yung venue becuase I already made announcements on other egroups about the meeting and some have already sent replies that they are interested to come.
Suggest that we inform Starbucks days before the meeting. Im sure they will like the idea because remember, these are businesspeople. The more people come, the more cutomers. And we might even get a discount. Sometimes these guys even prop up a booth on Microsoft seminars.
They might like the idea of making their branch the official meeting place of the group and maybe they may even set up a bluetooth/WiFi Internet access point for the customers who uses PDAs just for them to stay at Starbucks.

well... i guess... changing of venue is hard, especially at this time ....... starbucks podium nalang...

it will be really hard changing venues at this time, few days before EB.
i dont think noise is an issue.
they wouldnt put that many chairs there if they wouldnt be able to accomodate all of them.

Ill try to see if i can help out. The venue is just walking distance from where I live. Ill also be going to ericsson tommorow to have my phone upgraded to R2D. Let me know if youre coming

If starbucks has a 2nd Flr. then ok na yun. Like what Handsome puppy said, there could be problems if we change venue. @Handsome puppy: The idea of WiLAN in cafe's is already on the works . Our company also is in networking solutions and is currently on negotiation with Starbucks. Soon... if the deal closed, some Starbucks branches will have WiLAN access points connected via Broadband Internet :D ... lovely isnt it?

@jc, reconsider the podium venue. If there's gonna be a show and tell thingie, and we expect about 25 people, we would need to respect the privacy of the other patrons at starbucks. At least, in the case of ksroy, we got explicit permission
