Probably it's cheaper and newer, higher than 660 number also gives the illusion of more power. https://www.notebookcheck.net/665-vs-660_11487_9944.247596.0.html there's not much difference in benchmarks though.
Who's this compact midrange is for? Didn't they learn from X Compact? High price with lesser internals is a hard sell. Design could make or brake this. |

Buks posted once Ace was selling more than they expected.
Ppl in Japan dont care much about cpu.
I saw an article (androidnext) about a low end.
Something like Asus Live series.
I suspect E series could come back.
Lower tier than L.
Successors of 10+ and 8 need to bring HDR screen and IP68.
Something like HTC u19e.
Bonus: black friday offer is x10 for $170 in USA.

Haven't Lg tried something like that? Why is Sony giving resources to these unnecessary features. Maybe it's good. We'll see |

Pixel uses additional hardware for that (radar system).
No ToF there. And it works poorly according reviews.
I agree, waste of money.

I guess the gestures will be the same as those used in the Xperia Touch |

standard 4200mah
Premium 4500mah (7.2inch may be)
No 5000mah means the giant display , high refresh rate and 5G can never be fed up.
Remember what I said before, cost down shitty company.
If the gossip is true, then go hell.
Japanese sucks, u should never expect them.
Korean knows better about how to build a great flagship phone. |

Note 10+ = 4300 mAh+ QHD + 5G
OnePlus 7T Pro Mclaren = 4085 mAh + QHD + 5G.
Not that different.
7.2" is too much. Impossible to hold, not even if they remove all bezels.
Phones should not have more than 15,8 cm.

A flagship is more than a battery capacity. S10e can't beat x5's endurance.
Note 10 stole xzp design and Samsung is the only one who managed to have an exploding flagship.
Yes Sony is trying to cut the costs but they know how to do some things better. |

XD:
Note 10+ no 120hz
One plus 7t doesn't have a 7.2inch 4k/FHD 120hz display
If 21:9 7.2inch 75mm is true,4500mah sucks

If my math is not wrong, 7.2" 21:9 is:
- 17,05cm x 7,31 cm
- area of 124,7 cm2.
- equivalent to 6,72" 16:9
If the phone has same front design of X1, size must be about 18cm.
I think bezels of X1 are 1cm together.
I remember to one few comments of people that could force 120Hz on XZP.
The issue was few apps were crashing. Like phone dial.
No mention about less battery endurance.
