@rycexboi Not exactly a concrete proof but I found going to www.expansys.com/group/ and clicking the country and seeing if they have it listed is a not bad way. If T is listed there then it's likely to become available, same goes for TX. Not concrete as they do sell other global variants occasionally but they usually state if it's an imported variant. Also their release dates tend to be the official generic sim-free release dates and they update them to the date that they are actually getting stock, but they can be a bit lazy with the dates.

Does Xperia T/TX capable of Wi-fi Calling? I'm asking because I'm living in the basement and there's not good signal down there. If possible, I hope to enable it on my T-Mobile USA network. I do currently have wifi calling on my plan, currently enabled on my phone, HTC Amaze 4G.
If I can somehow get wi-fi calling on the Xperia T/TX on my network, it would be awesome. so I can even make calls in this here basement.
T-mobile USA network. Xperia x10i unlocked + 32GB / Xperia Neo Xperia TX LT29i Xperia Z C6606 Xperia L C2104 Xperia M Dual C2004 Currently using Xperia Z1s C6916 (T-Mobile USA)

Ricky D - How did you install GAPPS to your Xperia TX? |

I downloaded the Xperia T system dump from here, extracted all the relevant Google Apps and other apps I wanted like facebook integration packages (I took 22 in total) then pushed them to my TX and installed them.
I did try backing up those apps from the Arc to sd card using Titanium, then restoring them on the TX. That worked to an extent but the T is much closer to TX in terms of hardware so I replaced everything with the T files.
Also in that package is the new album app with pinch-to-zoom thumbs and the spinning globe geo-tagged photo viewer thing. It's called SemcAlbum.apk and installs on older handsets with no issues.

Ricky D,
How is the screen when displaying whites? Does your screen display pure whites, or does it have a more yellowish warmer look to it?

I've been testing the Xperia T for a week. It is very fast, literally flies, and has a very acceptable battery life.
My complaint is with the screen. Not only is worse than xperia Ion, but is slightly lower than xperia s. Judge for yourselves:
Xperia S - Xperia T - Xperia ION
The Xperia ION screen looks vibrant, with punchy colors, with stellar contrast and very deep blacks, so deeps that the screen seems to merge with the frame, and also has excellent viewing angles. In fact, looks like an IPS display, very close to greater screens out there like iPhone or HTC one X. Maybe the ION has the best display that Sony has ever made. The problem is that even the xperia s has a better screen than the Xperia T. The display on Xperia T looks washed out, lacking contrast, seems as if the glass and the screen were far apart from each other.
The new flagship of Sony it's a great device with fantastic design, but the screen is mediocre. Why Sony does not put all his best hardware on their flagship? It's difficult to understand.

Their prices have shot up since last year. You now have to pay an extra £5 a month for tethering, even on The One Plan.

Last night I compared my XS screen to the ION and i could not believe my eyes.
The ION`s screen was so much better. Brighter, darker blacks, very good viewing angles.
I sure hope the the XT fot AT&T will get the same screen as the ION. |

Look at the pictures and judge for yourself. I'm a big fan of Sony, but I'm trying to be objective and unbiased, I'm showing only the reality: The Screen on Xperia T is disappointing. |

I will check it when I'll see it live of course.
I don't negate what you say.
