Yeah, did ya take a peek?
Been looking into the handset over the last couple of days and its better looking than I thought... I know reviews go on about the back cover but to me it has to been super thin and bendy so its like a skin... And who cares what it looks like off, on is all that counts... Really considering it now... |

Well reviews have said that the thin battery cover snaps on tightly. And does not creak unlike the Arc I had

Is anyone here thinking of getting the SGS2?

Not now... As i think SGS is still pretty enough for my daily needs. I like the SGSII but it's expensive at the moment & not available in my region.. And by the way, SGS-III is also on the way...

Well I read this "Samsung Galaxy S3 upgrade that is coming late fall, with 4.5" edge-to-edge Super AMOLED Plus display of high resolution, and touchless gesture area. These same features Apple is said planning to introduce in the iPhone 6, which will appear many months after the SGS 3, which must have annoyed Cupertino to no end" on phonearena.com
If as time goes by we confirmation that it is true then I would wait and change my signature to say SGS3. I am still with a Samsung I8910 on symbian and want to move on.
I am also not about to buy the SGS2 with that sky high price. I was thinking about much later this year.

neglected to mention a few pages back that in addition to flashing gingerbread official leaked rom, i flashed chainfires kernal specifically for gingerbread jvk...it changes the file system from rfs to ext4, hence, at least for me, no lag at all...will be keeping my galaxy S until the gs3 emerges later in the year. |

@masseur congrats. Wow you have too many phones you're worse than me I want feedback from others first cos I remember the Galaxy S had a few annoying bugs when it arrived. I may want to wait first. But I think this is a device which will sell well & to really compete with. The Arc is ok just has poor plastics. @masseur do you have phones for business & pleasure??

definitly not more than you. since getting the iphones I've been alot more fussy and don't change every 2 months like I used to.
anyway, its arriving on Thursday so I'll spend the w/e playing. The reviews certainly are all giving it high praise...

Only bad thing is that flimsy back cover but according to reviews it does snap on tightly. I have now recently become less fussed over how good or bad the phone cameras are. I want just a reliable solid & fast performer with sturdy build.
