Asalam o alaikum warah matullah wabarakatuhu

alhamdolillah akhi .. i am making dua for myself and for the muslim ummah. May Allah protect us all, guide us to the right path and keep us away from the whisperings of shaitan .. ameen sum ameen

Couple of dua's from the Holy Quran which should be recited on starting of a Journey. 1st one is the famous dua which Prophet Muahmmad (PBUH) used to recite when starting a journey.

1.

Sura Az-Zukhruf, Chapter 43, Verse(s) 13-14

Second one is at the time of Hazrat Nooh (AS). Allah ordered Hazrat Nooh (AS) to get on the boat and recite the following supplication

2

Sura Momineen, Chapter 23, Verse 29

May Allah give us the tawfeeq to obey and follow whatever we learn from the Holy Quran, Ameen Sum Ameen

Wasalam o alaikum warah matullah wabarakatuhu

Asalam o alaikum warah matullah wabarakatuhu

Some of the verses from Sura Noor in the Holy Quran which contain a beautiful yet strong message for us.

These verses are repeated at numerous places in the Holy Quran which clearly emphasize the importance of it. It is such an important order that Allah has promised prosperity and good rewards for the doers both in this duniya and in the akhira for sure. The verse goes on to explain that if you opt to not obey Allah and His rasool that is your choice. The duty of the Prophet (PBUH) is just to convey the message. It is Allah who can give guidance to them, who can convince people to follow the right path. All we can do is to convey the message of Allah. We cannot force someone to obey Allah and His Propeht(PBUH). Islam is not the religion of force. Islam is the religion of peace and calamity. Prophet's (PBUH) duty is to convey the message and our duty is to accept the message and obey it. "Amanna Wsaddaqna". This was the saying of the companions of the Prophet (PBUH). "We listened and we obeyed". The last 2 verses of Sura Bakra talks about this.

Now in this verse, Allah explains the rewards which are gained if we obey Allah and His Prophet (PBUH). By obeying Allah and His Prophet (PBUH) and on top of that doing righteous deeds, Allah will grant them (whoever performs the previous mentioned actions) land on which they can rule. I need to explain something very important here. Quran is a book not just for reading, but for understanding. Indeed, just by reading it we are gaining rewards, but if we read it and understand it we will gain a much bigger reward inshAllah. Let us try to understand what this verse is saying.
"Allah has promised those among you who believe....". Believe in what? Believe in Allah as being the one and only who we can worship and ask for help, believing that Prophet (PBUH) is the final messenger, believing in other Prophets(Peace be upon Them), believing in all the companions of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), believing in Angels, believing in all the Books sent to this world, believing in end of the world and day of judgment. Then Allah goes on to say "....and do righteous good deeds...". subhanAllah. A message for us that Iman is followed by good deeds. Both are required to be blessed by Allah. Just by having iman and not performing good deeds or just performing good deeds without iman is not sufficient. Both have to be there. iman and good deeds. and this is not the only place where is it mentioned. The problem with us today that we (including me) just read the Quran and don't pay any attention to it. We are just performing lip service to it (May Allah give us the guidance to read, understand, obey and spread the true message of Quran Ameen Sum Ameen). Wherever in the Quran Allah has mentioned about Iman, Allah has also mentioned "Righteous deeds" immediately. Let me present few examples.

"2:82. And those who believe (in the Oneness of Allāh swt- Islāmic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds...."
"4:57. But those who believe (in the Oneness of Allāh - Islāmic Monotheism) and do deeds of righteousness,...."
"7:42 But those who believe and work righteousness...."
"11:23 But those who believe and work righteousness, ..."
"29:7 Those who believe and work righteous deeds...."
"47:2 But those who believe and work deeds of righteousness..."

and many many other places, wherever there is mention of Iman, good deeds follow through straight away. Which is an indication that iman is nothing without good deeds and good deeds are nothing without iman. They both go hand-in-hand with each other. Coming back to the verse, Allah has promised those who believe and do good deeds, land on which they will rule like those before them and also grant them the authority to practice their religion, chosen by Allah (which I am very thankful to Him). Lets keep this verse in our mind and have a look at what is going on around us. Is this the case? Are we the rulers or are we being ruled upon? It might look as we are ruling, yet we are being used as puppets and are being ruled upon by others. Why we ask. The answer lies in this verse. We have forgotten Allah and we have stopped doing good deeds even though we call ourselves Muslim. Where there is Iman, good deeds are absent. and where there are good deeds, there is no Iman in heart. Another benefit of having Iman and doing good deeds is explained in the next line.
"And He will surely give them in exchange a safe security after their fear (provided) that believers worship Me and do not associate anything in worship with me". Utmost attention is required in these lines. This entire verse is aimed at Muslims, telling them how to achieve prosperity in this duniya and akhira. Allah will grant us security and remove fear from our hearts. The one reason why Muslims are suffering all over the world is that their hearts are filled with fear, fear of not Allah but other things. Fear of other people, fear of other nations, fear of losing worldly possessions. and the reason behind this fear is explained in the above lines. that they have stopped worshiping Allah and have started associating things in worship with Him. Now how can a Muslim associate things among worship with Allah is a different topic and inshAllah soon I will write about that as well. But for now, the reasons are evident why Muslim nations all over the world are facing humiliation.

This verse explains some of the good deeds which we can perform to get the rewards and the mercy of Allah.

May Allah give us the taufeeq and guidance to act upon what we hear and what we listen and also give us the taufeeq to spread this message further. Ameen Sum Ameen.
If someone has any question regarding this or any other issue, please do post it here. or send me a private message.
Allah knows the best. May Allah forgive me if anything has been said wrong and guide me towards the right path ... ameen sum ameen

Wsalam o alaikum warah matullah wabarakatuhu

PS: I am a human being, I can forget as well. So whatever I said is wrong or someone believes I need to add something more, please do not hesitate to tell me.

My mum died day before yesterday (14/02/09) suddenly. She was little bit ill but wasn’t that much of ill for passed away but Allah took her to him. She was only 43/44 years old. To all of my brothers and sisters from esato; please pray for her that Allah gives him permission to enter to Jannat and pardon all her Gunnah from her life time.

Ina Lillahi Wa Inna Illayi Hi Rajaion

Brother Adnan, please accept my deepest condolence on the loss of your beloved mother. May Allah ease the questioning of the grave on her and may Allah enter her into Jannat-ul-Firdos and give her high ranks among the Muslim Woman ... Ameen Sum Ameen

A little reminder here that the Prophet (PBUH) said that when a person dies, only 3 things can benefit that person
1. Pious Children, who continuously pray for them
2. Beneficial knowledge, which people can utilize to spread the true message of Islam
3. Any Sadqa, e.g. a tree whose shade can be used by others.

Therefore brother, make dua for your mother, day and night.

May Allah ease your pain and give you the courage to pass by this tough time. Ameen Sum Ameen

This brother came to Blackburn last week and gave a lovely speech

He was a friend of Tupac

" Napoleon from Outlawz accepts Islam! "

Must watch all the way through, he's seen the light.
