ADD on wish list
- flashlight

(You know that the flash is Xenon and can not be utilized as a flashliight). There is an app invented by a poster here on Esato that will turn on the red LED as a flashlight.

This is probably what he was referring to, but as an inbuild ap.

I will be interested to learn of any improvements in R1CF001, once enough people have re-flashed using Wotanserver.

From this german site here I learned the following changes:
- noise removed from radio
- increased speaker volume
- removed display switch off during usage

At the moment the static that I can hear through my car stereo is very comparible to what you guys experience in the radio.

It's always discretely present for the first 30 seconds of connection (only heard when stereo is turned up, with no music), but not audible when music or radio is playing, and then after about 30 seconds (as people have reported) it suddenly gets a whole lot louder.

Fortunately it never seems to get louder when the music player is playing... only the radio? Or in my case - when nothing is open at all. Bizarrrrre.

I sure hope it gets resolves as it give me a hell of a fright if the phone's connected to the stereo but no music is playing for 30 seconds!!

If they could only release it on SEUS, we would all be very happy. It almost feels like they will wait and release an even newer firmware, or they are just slow.

I just noticed another bug with pictures in vertical or horizontal (landscape/portrait):

I shot a portrait/vertical picture. If I view it in the album it is in landscape/horizontal, that's normal, no problem. Now I turn it, so it's in the right vertical/portrait position in the album. But If I post it directly to the blog (send > to blog), the picture appears nevertheless in horizontal/landscape on the blog.

Seems to be the same problem as with the pictures you use for your contacts. If they are vertical/portrait in the album, they still appear in horizontal/landscape in your contacts, when your friend is calling or sending a message.

@mwarner: please add this to the bug list. Thanks!

Minor bug:

Watch video in full-screen, pause it, then change back to landscape mode. Video timer says 00:00 until you unpause.

Cheers

I wish so! Even to have it in the Power button menu would be great, currently, if I want to use my phone in a hospital as a once off (but not be prompted to use flight mode at every startup), I have to:

Go into settings and turn the flight mode prompt on,
turn the phone off (wait ) and back on again, selecting flight mode,
then on my return to normal mode, switch the flight mode option off again!

On this note...

Another possible bug:
In flight mode the Power button menu doesn't appear for me, not even from stand-by. Can this be confirmed as a bug by anyone?

Also: Viewing Birthday appointments added by the K800 display in an unusual fashion. Pressing the Back key to return to the Calendar exits the Calendar altogether.

So, any info on SEUS? Trying to update via OTA but always says my firmware is the latest. Is it reliable anyway?
