I have about 5-600 photos taken with my w800i in the last few months up on my photo blog: http://kasphotos.blogspot.com/

Here's some of the better ones (no real photoshopping involved other than to fix lighting and the occasional colour/blur here and there)... hopefuly this isn't too many - I couldn't narrow my favourites down any further than this! Hope I spread some creative inspiration to some of you!

mmmmmmmmmmm macro

Finishing off with the panorama setting

@ Kas:

Damn, your pictures are good. You've really got a good eye when it comes to photography. It's a shame I can't see your site though; Blogspot is banned here in China. I'd love to see more of your photos!

Firstly - for any close up shots... turn on Macro (either through the camera menu, or by pressing 4)...
When you go to take a photo, only half press down the button... it will auto-focus (green light at the top left of the screen will stay on and it will beep when this happens) - once you're happy with the shot; press the shoot button all the way down.

The black and white/colour was done by photoshop on some of them - but for the ones I posted up here I used Picasa (free photo management software made by Google!) It has some really easy to use photo manipulation for fixing up contrast, light levels, colour, red eye...etc. I also use this software to store my photos in groups, tag them, find them - and most usefully, in conjuction with Hello, I upload them directly to my photo blog

@kas thanks mate, I knew how to use the macro mode, but wondered how you managed to manipulate the picture the way you did. Think maybe I need to get me photoshop thanks also for the link to Picasa and I hope you post some more here
