Hissing sound in ear speaker when making calls? Then I'm sorry for the mistake because I thought it was a discussion about the hissing sound when playing mp3 sound files in low volume as people reported a problem with using firmware R1N035.
Ok, I have this hissing sound in the ear speaker when making calls as well. I thought of the following scenario though: Since the volume is much louder now, the hissing is due to that AND (at least in my case) it's noticable only when turning the volume down. When loud, there's no hissing. So it's a common problem?
Did anyone read the Swedish article that SE recently changed hardware for the K750 which changed the SAR value from 0.69 to 0.99? SE refuses to tell what is changed, but if you look at the web site for the K750 you'll see for yourselves that the value now is set to 0.99.
Suppose it's the higher volume that people been asking for so long that makes this hissing and that it only can be fixed using hardware (and that's what's changed in the hardware now when the SAR value is higher in the new production of the K750)?
@SE7
My misstake - stupid post by me, and yes, it turned out it was "me" who didn't read as well as I should. But you must admit it: you bought your K750 may 23, not april

yes, i think it is more noticeable when volume of ear speaker is in middle-low position. But the real problem - sometimes some words will get "corrupted" and i have to reask other side what did he say. I newer had that before with firmwares J, L or N, the first call i received with r1aa008 had that problem, i was thinking it was network problem, but now i have that problem almost every call |

I upgrade to R1aa firmware too.......
- noticed the letters in sms is smaller now.......can fit in more characters in the display.
- Volume during calls is way louder now
- I noticed the Contrast has been modified to improve screen image quality ........but only for a moment.........then it returned to previous contrast setting after a period of time.............sometimes when I turn off the phone and turn it back on ..........I will noticed a better contrast setting............sometimes not.......weird! Anyone noticed that ???

I've noticed something different with the R1AA008 firmware...
Before (with R1N035) i was able to browse the content on the Memory Stick via bluetooth and windows. But now, with this new R1AA008 i can only access the 'Phone Memory' when browsing files via bluetooth. Has anyone else noticed this? Are any of you able to browse the Memory Stick via bluetooth with the R1AA008 firmware- i need to pinpoint what has caused this change, and whether or not it is down to the settings in XP.

hey
@coo1k3n
i have the latest firmware and i am still able to browse my memorystick and phonememory with my bluetooth.
You are saying you only get acces to your phonememory with you BT.
Is your usb cable attached to your phone? If so remove it, because when your phone is connected to the usb cable. your phone doesn't recognize your MS anymore because win xp is "using" it. Look in the test service if your phone detects your card when your phone is connected to your pc.

Have managed to update mine just now, R1AA008, after trying for last several days.
EU2 & I'm in Ausrtalia... no problems that I've notice so far.
Navigates much faster, no freezes & volume overall is louder.

The hissing/sound breaking up during a call is a *huge* problem. I even tried Master Reset, no luck. There is no hissing/call breakup when I use a handsfree headset with the phone, but if I am just using the phone, it's almost impossible to hear.
I can't even do a system restore because that option is no longer present, I did manage to re-update the firmware via SEUS II, but it didn't fix the sound issue. This blows. I really don't wanna send my phone to SE USA for repairs, again.
