@boba -- yup, practically brand new. box and manuals were complete, but it came with a 3rd party battery and charger. i'm using the battery & charger of my older T28(has a mind of its own, decides by itself when it wants to have a signal or not.).
date of manufacture was 00W36. firmware is 000615 0014.

Boba - it's a big question to mull over but I think it's fair to say that if you have an interest in telecomms then there is a special and significant part of the history of the development of mobile comms attributable to Ericsson. I can appreciate why there is such a keen interest in the /// - the quality and design ethos is second to none.

Just got my parcel from UK!
Pics will follow:
First results:
- T36 is '4 locks closed' - seems to be manipulated and now with destroyed GDFS-Security area.
- T200 (black) starts up and searches for net. No net on GSM900 but net on GSM1800 (on description NO network)
- T68 sharkfin is logging to net and calls are possible - but as descriped no display, no speaker
- Wakaba (UMTS proto) - BUS-10 fits perfect and starts up the handset. With GSM-SIM display shows 'No network'

@Tigerente
Do you think that it will be possible to unlock the T36 using a terminator and div using the setting for a T39?

I've already tried with terminator and T39 settings. I can read out all codes etc. but no positive effect on 'reset GDFS'. DIV tells me 'sucess' but there isn't.
Rebuild SP Area and Remake CRC's can't be used at T39.
MAybe Twister or Fighter have more functions.

@ lazeeboy > I agree with you about the T28/T39 differences and appreciation ! Too bad your T28 is a Malaysian one. Try to get a Swedish one some day, the difference is great!
@ Tigerente > Please post some pics later !!! especially of the T36 and the "sharkfin" T68.

I got a HCA-15 car kit this week for my R310s. Was a bit confused when I opened the box and there was an aerial lead attached to the holder though. I then found another aerial for the phone in the box which had an external connection on it. Looks like Ericsson forgot to put an external connection on the phone at first so decided to put a different aerial in the box. Means my R310s now has a nice new clean aerial on it.

@ jcwhite_uk > The build quality is better on the swedish one. For example, the keypad of swedish models has the letters engraved and not simply printed. Keypad light is better too.
It's the same for the T39 I think, although I've never seen a swedish T39.

The letters on my T28 are printed on not engraved. The quality isnt amazing as when typing a text message it only lets me select the second letter on the required key, EG,m I can only use the letters BEHKNQT and X
