So, the 4K phone has rear FPS, while a FHD+will have in-screen?

Unlikely this year but maybe next year....
One more thing to confirm is one of the Xperia will use JDI touch controller instead of Synaptics, I suspect to work with "FPS" |

I really think they should have stuck with this design and just elongated the screen and reduced the bezel size. In essence put the XZ2 screen in the XZ1's body.
That was probably the pinnacle of the omnibalance/loop design. |

I agree.
For example if XZ2 had loop design and size of XZ1.
Something like Nokia 6 : 5.5" 16:9 and 14,8 cm tall.
The back panel of XZP chrome is the most premium used on any phone.
It makes it look way more expensive than it was.

Could the new Premium be introduced in early 2019 @ CES to rival the announcment of Galaxy S10?
4K OLED + in screen FPS + S855 + 5G?

Can the FPS means frames per second. like a developers way to show fps on screen or something ? not to say I know something I just don't want to speculate much.. can you find the same text on other older phones ?

Spek , two questions
1) does Sony starts making the phones only after they are announced?
Between announcement and shipping there is a big gap.
For example, Moto G6 is already for sale here.
Sony takes weeks, at least 4.
2) do you have access to the number of each device sold?
Just curious to see which was best seller of 2017.
If I had to guess I'd say Ultra.

1) Normally that's the case but nowaday they will start production ahead of introduction by 1-2 months, but that also depends on the sales number prediction too (Premium and Compact line for example will only produce at small number first, then after introduction if the reaction is good then they will ramp up the line..)
2) You will get the number on Sony IR Day 2018, 22-24 May.... |

Hi spektykles,
Should we expect a premium Ultra version anytime soon? iFA would be great for a Note rival 10th anniversary device.
One more thing, are the tablets real or the software included those options for the sake of including .
Thanks in advance. |

Sony Mobile's smartphones this year have no plans to adopt 4K resolution OLED displays.
