GUys finally i gave phone to service center,but they are telling they will replace the phone with other but not BNIB(brand new in box) sealed,just phone.....How about in your respective countries,is the service same.Do they give just phone with different IMEI no....
Please help me to correlate to service centre and put a strong voice to them. |

10 free games offer should be available to Z1 owners in the US now. I just got the offer in Xperia Privilege app. I would assume the movie and music unlimited should be available too, but can't confirm since I already claimed it under UK location and I can't use it unless I'm in the UK........ |

^the games offer was available last week, but movies and music hasn't arrived yet. Apparently it has JUST arrived for Z and Tablet Z users.. we may be waiting a bit longer. Perhaps after TMo unleashes their LTE version..

If the Z1 and ultra are to jump directly to 4.4, then I don't expect it anytime soon, I'd rather a 4.3 update with this "supposed" improvement to the camera that was mentioned ages ago. |

I'd be happy staying on 4.2.2 if they just released the supposed camera update as my z1 is running just fine as it is lol

My Z1 has developed touch screen issues. More often than not I keep getting pinch to zoom problems whereby it doesn't do what I ask it too and it jerks all the time. Many times too I get the screen respond to something totally random and opposite to what I selected. An example is the awful keyboard

Strange Bonovox. I haven't had any issues and i've been using pinch zoom a lot lately while browsing the web.
one thing i do notice is i have wifi turned off.. but for some reason, the next day it has somehow turned itself on. i think maybe i have it auto on if detected somewhere but i've been lazy to check ha.
other than that, i've no issues..
ALready end of wednesday and still no news yet. I guess they will wait til friday. typical to wait til the last minute.
If Z1 jumps to 4.4 it would have to be by end of january at the latest. By end of year to really make people happy. If they can't do it, then they should just release 4.3 by end of November with a fat camera update that they've supposedly be holding back.
Guess 2 more days til we find out the official game plan..

haha clearly he had nothing else to write for an article so he threw something together..
"based on reports" reports of what? haha.. Sony itself has said they'd announce news on it this week, which hasn't happened yet. That's just pure stupidity to publish an article like that at this time..

I'm joining the bandwagon this coming Sunday and am getting the purple one to make it more premium and exquisite.
IMHO, I'd rather not to speed up things in upgrading to 4.4 if what they will give to us is only a piece of shxx. Better to make use of the next days, not too much like the Xperia S' dark days of waiting in agony for crappy 4.1.2 release.
Correct, I agree to release first the full manual camera mode. But I foresee better to jump to 4.4 already and it will benefit us mostly on the Immersive mode feature of Kitkat. |
