That's one of the ways to put it. And a few pages back I said he hated , this is not without some proof, although in his rants (link posted here some pages back, too) wasn't specifically mentioned, it all shows that much of his articles are just too subjective. But I guess the decision of choosing a cellphone IS down too subjectivity. I agree with you that as long as we fully enjoy using C905, then it would be a perfect phone for us. |

I haven't been online in a long time and have completely missed this thread so please don't flame me for not reading all 260+ pages.
Does anyone know if the c905 will be released for T-Mobile in the states? This sounds a bit retarded but I'll say it anyway, my friend works for T-Mobile and she told me her manager just went to a company conference that showcases the new phone line up. Per him, the c905 will be available soon. I tried looking every where to verify but of course I had no luck. I figured this would definitely be the place to ask.
The reason I would like to know is that if this is true is with the phone that is available now is not compatible with the T-Mobile 3G. At least from what I can tell. If they were to release it with T-Mobile I would think it would.
Again, forgive me for not reading this thread in it's entirety. I did a search and read quite a few pages but nothing to what I was looking for.
Thanks again in advance.
One more question.
The Sony Ericsson site says the phone has Instant Messaging, does it now have Yahoo/AIM/Google Talk on the phone?

And from someone who actually knows something on the subject, M-R (Russia) has a much better relationship with SE than it does with Nokia, though on the English side, that is certainly reversed.

forgett this Bortj eating Siberian Nokia fanboy......(lets go on with this cool new flagship)
ive tried c905...the buildquality is just normal for a slider.
(slider will never have the same, exact solid touch as candybars, so its nothing strange if it have sligtly creaky feeling sometimes........
i would gladly like to try samsung 8510 and see if it so solid as Eldar says its...i really doubt that)

Back from the gym now. I can report a bug on this phone: It seems to have a problem with flash photos:
First with auto settings, second with twilight portrait.

well.......like i said before...do a master reboot...(i allways do that with my new phones)
if that dosent help...you might have some serious software issue...(SEUS havnt got latest fw for C905 yet, according to fullforce).

That's annoying Marty, flash being one of it's main advantages, dud sample, whip it back to the shop pronto.

@MWEB
The Innov8 is better overall because it has metal parts, better hardware, better software, but it belongs to an entirely different product class. I myself think the only coinciding factor between the two products are their 8MP cams. But these days there are a lot of people (who obviously never bothered to check Esato's boards) buying phones simply because of their megapixels. You of all people would know that, being a cellphone market analyst. Whatever Eldar said about SE products must have been a personal opinion, although I agree that some SE products nowadays are not that stellar technology-wise. Still, C905 should be an enjoyable one for me. |

I think I might have been covering the sensor. If you hold the phone with your left hand wrapped around it (Like I've been used to on my K810i), then it is possible to obscure the sensor with the top of your thumb.
With my hand away from the front, I got these indoor flash pics:
Much better
Must be me being dumb Been so used to holding my K810i in one way for like 18 months now, hard to change straight away.
