I'm syre that u've taken both pictures with automatic white balance which always differs in different situations.
if u had taken both photos with e.g. daylight white balance then u r right.
the automatic white balance depends on so many factors and hance it is not a good way of comparing different photos.

man i have taken them wthith automatic white balance but in the same room light, i have tried and whith daylight white balance(picture was a little bit better but quality far from photo maked whith (R1N035) older firmware.

Hi,
I wanna ask you one very basic question... Shall i upgrade my W800 from R1L to R1AA? previously i was given opinion not to upgrade to R1N as it had bugs. What about R1AA?

Thanks

I have updated my firmware to R1AA008, my phone is a branded O2 CDA102338/16 EU2 mobile.

Im sure O2 users are able to update (if someone hasnt already said that is )

P.s: I used the SEUS II Client to update my phone.

Hello guys!

I've been a little conservative and I've been waiting until yesterday for updating my W800i firmware.

My w800i is un unbranded, unlocked set. I did my updating from Spain.

My first surprise is that the current tool from SEUS is a local application called Update Service v2.2.10. This tools is very easy to use. It brings you very detailed and graphical step-by-step information following the flashing process.

It supports the two different connections that SE handsets presents and I think that in case you have not installed the USB-flashing driver, this tool does for you.

After the flashing procedures, I feel that my set works perfect. I have to follow checking, but my first impressions are good.

well i have upgraded my W800i and i have to tell you that it didnīt do do antything with my main issues that i have had since october. That is: crappy camera (less light sensitivity and "lines" in the picture when taking pictures in poor light conditions) and hissing sound on my Mp3-player. Iīm really puzzled. Why the hell didnīt they get it right this time? I guess there are people out there that have had all their issues fixed with this new firmware?

Iīm trying to understand why the new firmware doesenīt fix my issues. Maybe there are differences in the hardware between the first phones that came out on the market and the later ones, since pople experience difference problems with their phones. Any thoughts?

In the newest firmwares deffence i have to say that i think the file corruption bug seems to be solved.

Is there anyway to see when the phone is made so we can clear the early-late model issue out with the hissing sound?
I havenīt uppgrade mine yet from R1L002 firmware and have non off the problems some people reporting about and listening to a lot of audiobooks and dont want the hissingsound.
After all the reports of hissingsound from early modells i dont know if I dare to uppgrade anymore Maybe it was good the uppgrade didnīt work for me the other day!

@DRZ

I recommend you stick to your R1L firmware, as this is the most trouble free firmware up till now. Hopefull SE can release a firmware to fix the current issues soon.

@happykhan

Yes, your phone is only "half" updated. Solution:

1) Wait untill SE fixes the problem. Cost: Free, but you'll have to wait.

2) Use DaVinci to reflash with R1AA008. Cost: 10 euros, but you can have it done at once.
