It certainly is, Blue. I made an offer 8 years ago when i first saw the house, and i'm eternally grateful the old lady honoured my offer. There's much to be done to get it exactly the way we want it, but time (unfortunately not the bank balance) is on our side. It probably also means a new car which was envisioned will now be postponed for decades hehehe Besides, walking's good for the body lol.

@SLS, i believe the entire Grabouw is behind it's Idols finalist, to the extent that you guys jammed the network with your sms messages recently Good on ya

@ BlueQuill,
Doh!Silly mistake confusing Asian sub-continent wicket-keepers.
Back to more modern cricket,I'm keen to see if the Poms can master Harbhajan Singh's spin on those pitches...
Sa are currently playing NZ in the third ODI.The SA team set a new record for themselves with the last ODI win;it was their 11th consecutive ODI victory.

Congrats on the 4000-post landmark,SA! Was hoping we would reach it before our 1st birthday.

Can you guys believe it, electronic shops no longer stock radio antennas. Last night Audiovision salesmen looked as if belonged in a nuthouse when I asked it, the friendly chaps at Game shrugged their shoulders when I approached them this morning and the people over at Hi Fi Corp were totally clueless when I went into their store 30 minutes ago. If I find this elusive FM antenna will let you guys know.

BTW I saw a vintage 2618s being sold for R199 including starterpack at the abovementioned store. I still think this was the start of Ericsson's decline when they tried to compete with Nokia's 5110.

As a rule it'll be the smaller electronics places that stock those goodies, boet. Try a radio repair place, they should have it. Busy fixing an old radio? I've been playing about with my SW and LW settings on my world-band, suprising how many foreign stations one can pick up.

@Kryptik: Finally picked up a fly lead from Checkers in Sea Point. I got the hi-fi from my sister but she forgot to include an antenna( I'm a great fan of CapeTalk).

You won't believe how i've been spamming 702 to know why they can't broadcast on FM as well. I thoroughly enjoy the their talk shows as well, but AM reception is poor at best... And then only at night too.

@ brix,

Looks like that prediction you had about the NZ tour seems to have come good in no uncertain terms.
Good to see Gibbs had a decent knock too...
So that's 12 ODI victories on the trot for SA. Excellent...in anyone's language.

Damn, that boy knows how to knock a ball! He reminds me more and more of Klusener. Well done lads.

In all honesty I think Kemp is the much improved version of Zulu... Whereas Klusener treated bowlers like Republicans treat liberals he never quite did it with finesse. Kemp hits the ball clean but on merit, no half measures just full on destruction. Damn, I can't wait for the convicts in December.

roflmao @ Democrats and Libs!! Wicked!

Good news for gmail users
We can now forward mail with attachments via http://gmobile.sayni.net which imho is brilliant for those of us who aren't close to a pc at times... this site allows one to select specific attachments in multiple-attachment mails for forwarding, as well as forward to multiple recipients, etc. Been testing it since Saturday, works smoothly...

@da krypsta: But you still can't open applicable applications.
BTW, I've noticed a couple of television ads for the N70 and N90...which means that these phones should be available soon.

Yep, sad but true, although hopefully it'll undergo modification and we'll be able to open attachments from there as well. The wife called me to check out the N90 ad last night. I see they're touting the Carl Zeiss camera... It still doesn't really compare to SE camera, imho, not according to what i've seen at gsmarena.
