Well.....
......so the Z750 has evolved the Z610; does look better..........but Call/end Call keys??!?!?!?
New UI or not, hard-bound keys like that belong with low-end J series(and other manufacturer's phones ), not premium devices! This does not bode well(especially if Sofia runs this UI/ key config)......
W580: Looks good, will sell well(proper keypad, too)........I just wonder how much is gonna try to squeeze out of Walkman branding - Xumdeo, W42S(Walkman Branded phone) didn't work so well in Japan, did it?? Well, not compared to SO903i(equal music features, NO branding(well, 'Premium AV', but that's unused by anyone before))........
p990i(r6d), n82-1(20.0.062) * treat people as you expect to be treated! * a-zott platinum/tttt in ~3 years... rip expanded call lists! |

@Aware
RE the call buttons; I have a feeling it is just to make more acceptable in the US market. The centre softkey display confuses me a bit.

Yeah, just had a look at a standard Z610......Call/End call are Back arrow/'C', which means the single 'c' key on Z750 could be camera(to allow full d-pad shortcuts)........or, of course........Walkman(remember my request to you at xmas??)......
As for the central text in the UI purely gives you more options than currently(where d-pad button(or joystick press) replicates left-softkey). Got to say, it's a boon on P990, I can see it being useful in OSE-based phones(think Nokia Series 40, or OLD Moto UI(although will be far more dynamic than that - I hope))........

Thanks Zopp and welcome to Esato!
I have been following your posting over on se-nse.net, however we will always have out doubters when anyone posts spypics - which is not always a bad thing. I am glad we have people alert to bogus postings.
You mentioned that the model you had was not Cybershot branded. Do you know if the final version will be cybershot branded?
Plus, I am not sure I like the camera side of that Elena pic. It looks like an after thought. What happened to the 'premium materials' that were going to make an appearance on this years phones?

If the Z750 is using the new UI, does that mean that pick up/hang up buttons are going to be the norm? If so, bummer SE's turning into 'everybody else'. And they look ugly as well.
And I'll get onto updating the first post sooner or later. Give it time
Honestly, I'm not completely sure. But this could mean, that they are. |

Maybe Elena isnt their flagship phone, which means it would have to be Maria? |

I still think that this is going to be Elena as it is, not much chance of a metal casing either because even the p990 is plastic. Metal would be used only in thin phones like w880 to stop them from breaking in half. The camera area looks empty, but once the focus information is printed on it, it shouldnt look as bad. If I buy a SE this year its either this or Maria.
@Zopp,
Does this phone build quality feel at least as good as the M600i?
