A Good looking Sony + Walkman + Android Phone without the Ericsson? Doesn't look like  is going to be in the fray much longer...

I agree! It's suicide if they announce it this year for release next year.
Not that it will be ahead of anything next year but it will be better to announce it next year for release in the next month or announce it now in October and release it in November or December.

i would say they will announce it at the CES in January next year and then start selling it in March, so it wouldnt be too bad. |

You bet. Tegra 2, OLED screen and S-master. Put a Exmor sensor and we can all ditch SE.

This is what some of us are saying, Sony is lacking direction.
How big is the portable music players' market after the cellphones have taken over? Why don't they just push SE to a much higher level instead?

Pretty Obvious it will have Icecream sandwich wont be late in OS race  But Hardware is the only issue..
Hopefully 2012 will be best for with latest OS n Harware ..

I cannot read Chinese but I see the 32GB of memory is still there. SE is known for skimping on memory but if that is true on the huge memory then this is going to be an interesting SE device.
I just wish they went with a 16mp camera seeing that quite a few phones will be running on that same hardware, some possibly even better. Sticking a 16mp camera in there would've differentiated them a little bit better imo.
