Considering Nozomi is meant to be out soon, surely there will be an announcement soon
Who said nozomi is meant to be out soon?
Leaks of Japanese release schedule's for NTT DoCoMo suggested it would be out at the end of this month (which seemed a little early but the general idea it will be in the next batch of NTT DoCoMo handsets seems fairly accurate)
Perhaps they are false. Makes for a fairly disappointing rest of year if true however.
Wasnt the whole axmaxfan thing last year based on some "leaks" from DoCoMo? Two High ends, one android and one wp7 with release in october or something. Well that turned out to be false

Ricky D is absolutely correct.
Sony Ericsson phones reach to Sony's cameras, MP3 players, tablets etc.
If Sony Ericsson release a dual core phone, it will be as powerful or more powerful then the Sony tablets.
Excellent camera demeans the Cybershot line.
Excellent music player demeans the Walkman line (especially now with Android being used).
Currently there is a massive juggling act, and it can really make them look worse for wear. The thing is though, these problems are not Sony specific. Samsung have obviously done a good job with the same constraints, and with the amount of Japanese phones with stunning cameras, it's pretty clear that Sony migth be playing this game a bit conservatively.
So that only proves that Sony is the one responsible for hindering SE's true potential

This seems very exact.

Sounds kinda realistic to me, although the lack of microSD card slot is disappointing. 32GB is enough for me but I would have liked to have seen higher.
No information about the camera which is interesting.
If the phone will be available in March then an announcement on October 1 seems way too early. I guess we won't see it till CES. |

I don't know what to think of this device. This is a 2011, Q4 phone that will be released next year in March! Its saving grace will be a brilliant camera, something like a good 12 to 16mp cause most of those specs are already out in other phones.
I read somewhere that Qualcomm's 1.8Ghz, dual-core processors are already out and you can just see a Galaxy SIII with that processing power.
Let's see what happens next year. This seems like a decent phone though.

March is too late!!! People spend most during Christmas holiday. Isn't that common sense? |

The demands are high if you call this phone "decent"
Well maybe decent compared to the new monsters from HTC and Samsung |

... hence the statement: 'This is a 2011, Q4 phone that will be released next year in March'.
