hello guys.. im havin real big probs since i bought my p990i, i posted in the forum but got no replies ... ill paste the posts here, please help me..
1)
This is just so weird.
When i start the SEUS software on my comp, it goes till the phone detection process, and then i follow the steps- remove the sim, keep c button pressed , attatch cable and then unpress the c button.
It tries to detect but always gives an error message- failed to detect , huh!?
wat do i do????
2)
just got my p990i, oh man made such a mistake by selling my previous phone without noting down the gprs settings, now when i call these idea bas***** they send me some incompatible settings, they dont have settings on their site, damn, any of u guys can help me? please, its urgent . (full internet gprs settings)

please help me......its urgent  .... if i dont get help it may compel me to change it for a nokia n93...plus there is no messenger (yahoo/google) for uiq3 except agile which doesnt work on my p990 huh, this is really making me go towards n93... plzzz help

Are you with Sutherland by any chance??? This sounds very much like Sutherland....givin tickets and askin you to go board the train tomorrow  all the best, dude...its a great company...but forget all the luxury you were used to in CL3I

@karan,if u haven't tried updating ur phone before,u might want to go through this:

Very informative yet simple.
Also remember to back up ur phone before u update it.

I had a very tiring night duty...worked from 10am last month till 5.30am this month  then slept for 3hrs 
@karan,the steps.
1.Recharge ur phone batteries.Some say,its better to switch off usb charging(i found no problem when usb charging with updating).You can also charge ur phone while updating...its a long process.
2.And back up all ur phone data with ur pc via sync using PC suite.
For Updating...
Connect with ur internet service provider.
Open Update Service.
select language and choose the port type.
Now connect the desk base to ur usb cable and the other end to the pc.
Switrch off ur mobile and remove the sim card and replace the battery.
Now dont switch on the phone...press "C" and while still pressing it down,place ur phone on the deck to connect ur phone with ur pc via usb.
Hope this helped.
Edit:Agile messenger works perfect for P990...i use it often to chat with my family and friends.

I guess you're not a big fan of gravity . Try tamiltorrents.

yea man i read that... but the problem im facing is that the software doesnt detect my phone during the "c" button process... |

Ok..i got the same "detection failed" first time(maybe coz i released the c button early)...i tried again...this time,i kept pressing the c button while attaching the phone to the usb...released it only after it asked to do so.it worked and it identified my phone correctly.
now i cancelled the update coz i read and heard that this update is not as good as the last one...and has some bugs.
