HI, I have managed to flash the phone but i still have the vodafone branding. The versions i downloaded were HL1_1250035-EU2-MR1_000000_0000_R1J002 (big) and HL1_125953-VFE2-MR1_000000_0000_R1J002 (small). I tried to replace with eu1 and eu3 when it had finished downloading. Nearly f*cked the phone. Anyway managed to flash it back to vodafone. Anyone know how to get rid of vodafone?

I have just update my k750 and at the end of updating when the indicator said 100% it poped up an error saying could not complete update.

I seems fine, and checks out against other peoples versions in the software info so hopefully all is ok. I hope no one else has this as I thought for a short wile a had a new desk ornament. I suppose what i am trying t say is if it says its gone wrong that messagemay be an error in itself so don't worry until its definately broken.

good luck

LOL i know! WHY DO THEY F*CK WITH PHONES ANYWAY?? Im leaving vodafone next time round, they really do annoy me. Any news from that guy bart who tried to only flash one file? I will try it in a bit. It wasn't easy flashing it back after i messed it up. It wouldn't even switch on! But i got it back!

O2 are the best! They leave the phone how SE left it!

Have just noticed that the minimised media player icon has now changed to a film strip where previously was a cd (if already mentioned apologies)

After upgrading my K750i I'm not able to use wap/internet/mms over gprs anymore. I've tried both upgrade methods, same result. Also did an un-install of the SEUS software, re-downloading the files. Tried several master resets...no luck. Irritating

Well after a hours worth of palava (didn't realise i had to download two usb drivers files, one of which wasn't on the UK k750i support site) got it to go and now i've got the new firmware.

Can't say i notice that much of the difference (i didn't have any problems before), the phone now displays 'silent mode' under the tune picture when you press silent, but thats about all so far - probably more minor changes that you won't really notice.

One thing that would be nice is it to read a bit faster from the duo card when viewing horizontally, when you first flick thru it takes a quite a while image by image, but after they are loaded its a lot faster (somebody tell me if a duo pro card would solve this).

Suppose any updates must be a good thing!

Subnote: 5 mins after typing this, i've notice that my GPRS no longer works, keep getting the message incorrect settings, communications error, hope SE sort this out soon and i've tried to download O2 settings and it still doesn't seem to work!

Hi, just tried what bart said about removing vodafone firmware. That is trying to change the vodafone file when it has finished downloading. Oh well, anyone else know how to get rid of vodafone firmware.

Vodafone is like aids! no cure!

Damn, this is an annoyance, call me wrong, but shouldn't SE check these updates before they release them - what's the point in releasing them if your phone goes backwards functionwise.

Looks like SE will have to release another update to resolve this, its a real pain for me as i use GPRS quite a bit, so i can't and won't live without it. Also it effects MMS.

Sort it out SE!

It would seem that this GPRS problem related only to O2 phones. It's just like the text problem on the K700i. It has got to be down to something O2 specific. I'd blame them rather than SE. [addsig]

No problems with latest firmware on my D750i whilst connecting to GPRS or sending/receiving mms.

Well my gprs worked fine before the update. Also a poster above from norway seems to have the same problem.
