Guys.I have one big problem. My phone memory reduces when i use the inbuilt web browser.I am not able to multi task at the times when i am using web browser. It continuously give this error general- system memory full.Close some applications.
I had almost finished downloading the opera 8.0 for my phone. At time of installation it again gave the same error.I noticed one thing.Phone memory goes on reducing.I am saving all downloaded files to the memory card. Not a single media file is in the phone mem.In f explorer it shows the c:drive as having only 3200kb as free memory.Correct me if i am wrong, the c drive is phone mem.The phone memory is 10mb as per manufacturer. So guys help me out please

1st Reboot your phone with no app/utility auto start; better put "Safe Boot" then launch the browser. clear history & cache then go directly to the download site and all should work.

double check also if pictures are saved in the c:\nokia\images folder on your phone instead of the memory card.

@boba fet, good choice on the 6230i but I feel that your best Nokia experience will come from a series 60 phone. who knows you may be like me hoping for a SE P series with more functions & EDGE like Nokia phones or 2+ models of the P for sub-markets.

@DrPratikB, you may want to install an app like Appman as well. It frees up memory, can close open apps, etc which should help too. It'll give you a list of open and installed apps, etc. I'd recommend this app to any Nokia s60 user.

@Dr, looks like your only option is 2 configure profimail or builtin email client 2 download the .sis file of opera to install. Question do you have the 6680? If so then launch that browser; although its an older version 2 download version 8 directly 2 memory card. Sorry if im not following lately been intense training at work past 3days and not sleeping well.

Friends, the phone is still giving me problems with system memory.Do you think shall i upgrade my phone software version. It simply goes on reducing. As told by mrao,i have cleared all the history, cache.I also downloaded the appman software it also shows only 2.64 mb memory while browsing and at other times it is 5.61max.Do you suggest formating the phone using the *#7370#?I am really worried. Can anyone give the email address for nokia support.

Folks,
i own a nokia 6681 which is just 2 days old, presently seems to be having problems in loudspeaker and calling contacts
my firmware version is V3.10.6 / 11-05-05 / RM-57.

loudspeaker didn work on receiving calls. But it was fine when any sound is played .
When i did my 4th restart of the phone, it seems to be working fine.
Even calling contacts using the green phone icon had severe problems like.. when i select a number from call log and press that green button, call never used to happen.

Please enlighten me if my firmware is buggy or go for a replacement.

Thanks,
Jade..
