How many in here will buy V800 with Vodafone 3G contract?
I'm going to do that because I find the other operators worse than Vodafone.

I'm quite satisfied with Vodafone so far, good network and all...... and I'm quite eager to get a V800 on their network..... BUT not if they are going to go with outrageous pricing. That would be the one thingto stop me

Im going to get one from Vodafone, i think they are the best network by far, had Telia SE before, but they where expensive and had no customer care at all. I have been fully satisefied with Vodafone, the I broke the cover for my P900, the fixed it for free, my T610 hade some software error and they fixed it for free. And in the store they always take good care of you. Ne only thing to complain about is that they dont have that good cover of the northern parts of Sweden, byt it works in the towns, not always on ther roads between them.

No McKinley, i meant it would be £350+ sim free, unbranded from SE.
Look at the K700i. Sim free from SE it was £330 upon release.
The S700i was and still is £500.
So, the V800, which in some ways is better than the S700 should be a little bit less than the S700, or a little bit more. Which is it will be up to SE to decide.
Btw, im not from Africa.

The S700i cost about £120 - 150 more than the V800 sim-free.
What I mean with "you must be in Africa" was not that you were from there but you where wrong (I don't know to say this kind of thing in English?) We have a proverb in Swedish which could be translated in this way: "You are out and riding a bike" That means you are totally wrong or you don't have a clue what you are talking about. |

Oh thanks for pointing out im a blithering idiot. Cheers.
But im not wrong, im just speculating since nobody really knows how much SE would let the V800 retail for unbranded and sim free.
Hell, they might even let us have it for free ! ! j/k

Btw, if the V800 did cost say £150 less than the S700, that would make it £350.
Thats only £20 more than the cost of a K700i when it was released in June. I cant see that happening.

It really isn't that big when folded next to a K700. I think it's the same size as a 3G LG U8120... |

Yep...definitely gettin it 2mora! I'm hoping the contract price will be around 150 quid with similar tariffs to 3 (fingers crossed). 500 minutes and 100 texts a month for 30 quid would do me fine!
Does anyone know if Vodafone do next day delivery if I phone up and get it in the afternoon? What about transferring my number from threepay on 3 to a vodafone contract? |

You will get your 500 mins tomorrow.
You will get your 100 texts tomorrow.
You will also get free browsing tomorrow.
But it won't be 30 pounds.
Vodafone (or any other UK network) will not be competing with 3 on price plans. |

I thought I read an article somewhere saying their price plans would be very similar to actually compete with 3. Also when I rung vodafone up last week they said they would have VERY good deals going on...I think... |

How certain is it that this phone will be out tomorrow? I mean it has not even hit the SE developers website (I know it doesnt have to as its an "exclusive")..
I am hoping it does come out tomorrow and add to my fourth contract for this year..grrrrrr |
