Upgraded my vibrant to Android 2.2 and did not brick it. Works like a charm.

Darky just released 9.3 of his rom.

I recommend that you use either Super Optimized Kernel http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=811660 or the Voodoo you get with this ROM. Just install Darkyrom manager from marker and set it up as you like and then just install using cwm.

I'm using a vanilla galaxy S. Flashed csc, phone, modem and updated bootloader. No repartition or pit file. Getting no lag at all... |

The beta ginger XXJVK 2.3.3 is not best as it has some bugs to be fixed... The best available official stock ROMs are XXJPY for Europe & JPJPM for Arabic region.
Edit: Wait for the official GB which is expected in the mid of April 2011

Think i will get a SGS too this week. Now i have a Satio, and i switch to SGS because of android and 720p VR. Does the SGS worth it? Meaning is it cool? does it take good pictures? I have seen videos, they are nice, but only few pictures. Is this a good choice for an upgrade? Thanks.
Yes it is 100% worth
