Sorry, but if this thing doesn't speed up soon then It'll just run out of steam altogether.
Look; you get the phone, you take photos of YOUR local area, then you send it on? That was the original plan wasn't it?
Sorry to be a bit narky everyone but to me, this excellent idea has completely lost it's focus now

It's just that if we all take the bloody thing on holiday / business / second home with us, then it's just going to take too long and the phone will probably give up the ghost before it gets to everybody on the list!

Fair enough guys. I'll take it into London and to Oxford, and Lee will have it by the 18th.
Those places he mentioned are a damn sight more interesting for Turkey, that's for sure. I'll be back from Oxford on the 3rd July, so I'll aim to have it out the week after, unless anyone has any objections to that, and wants it out sooner.
There are no photographs I've taken with the phone, and none of the phone, due to my exams and busy revision schedule.
It can be out tomorrow as far as I'm concerned, but I would quite like to take it out at least once before posting it off.

Agree, till 20th August with only one person (2,5 months !!!), is way too long imo.
edit: I'm sure it's possible to take beautiful pics in Turkey aswell, but I think the phone should be moving faster.

If there's no one against me having it until the week beginning 6th July, then can I hang onto it until then at the very latest?
It'll give me ample opportunity to take it all over London, as I'm needing a fair bit of shopping for the summer and sixth form! I'll plan in a few excursions away into more quiet bits of London on my trips.

Given that you're traveling to places the phone might not get to otherwise, I, personally, think it's a top idea that it travels with you!

I have no problem with Arien having it for 2 1/2 months but we must get photos every day / couple of days at the most or like Cycovision says, the thread will lose it's momentum.
I have some ideas for photos around my city and I intend to take my laptop and Vodem with me to upload photos as close to when their taken as possible. It's very dependent on when I get the phone though as it's a dull, cold winter here at the moment and my position on the list will probably see me (and Oli before me) getting the phone during Spring which will be great for photos!
Let's try and keep to the list if possible and remember, regular photos or video is compulsory or move it along! And be creative guys! Lets see some interesting / comical / relevant scenarios, some important landmarks, some crazy people!
