Not sure about that but im just hanging on for new firmware now. Anyway yes guess despite some problems i cant be without SE i love them too much. LG just feels too alien. What gets me is all the high tech features of LG phones yet in their text message menus there are no graphical smilies why? I love the SonyEricsson smilies lol. But i always end up missing the great interface and quality. |

@Bonovox, you're not mad, I can understand exactly how you feel. It's the little details that we've gotten so used to in the SE phones that make us wanna stay with SE. Time and again I've been tempted by offerings from other manufacturers, but each time I ended up with an SE. Fortunately, most of the time I'm satisfied with my decision. I'm pretty sure my C510 would be perfectly fine once I've upgraded it to the latest firmware. I'll be sticking to my trusty T700 till then. |

Yes indeed true. My firmware being R1DA032 is pretty stable except the occasional mirror screen thing that happens. My new c510 is made in 09 week14. The last one which died was week 13. My previous Orange branded one was week14 and that never died on me seems week13 made ones are bad batch. This phone is good and almost bug free just need that update. Do you know when it could be out? Also i used to be nothing but SE or Nokia now i even grown bored with Nokia.

I've just did a quick check, mine's made in 09 week 14 as well. Hopefully that's as reliable as yours.

Yes lets hope. How long does it take for SE to normally release new firmware do you or anyone know? I know for this phone the firmware R1DA035 is out but in other countries |

I'm afraid I have no idea. Over here the phones get launched pretty fast, but not so for the firmware. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the latest C510 firmware. |

Seems to me that this phone is cheap for a reason! I have had 2 with problems, my mate has also had 3. His Cybershot logo jumped ship on one and the other one just went mental!

No its just some small bugs just like any other phone. So far for me this phone has had ten time LESS bugs than more expensive phones like c905. You may have earlier firmware. Its cheap but its not nasty cos considering the price its good quality with decent feature set and more reliable than some others. Most new phones have problems. |

@Bonovox, I'm from Singapore. I'm with you on this, I could live with the C510 on its current firmware if I had to. I've seen worse problems on other phones with the latest firmware. My T700 was a little buggy initially too. But now, with the latest firmware, it's rock-solid. I'm loving it. |

Thats one thing i wish the c510 had some metal parts like the T700. Nice phone. So Singapore bet its hot there. Im obviously in UK but an Irish family. |
