It should be the same (if not better) as K850. I think the W902 is a walkman version of C902 and K850.. The speakers should be the same quality.

Hard to say - it's certainly fuller-sounding and less tinny than my K800 or K770 were. Walkman phones generally seem to have better loudspeakers than other SE models, in my experience. |

Because the W902 is just a C902 in another casing, the speaker is identical and therefore it isn't anything amazing.
The W595 is the only SE I can think of that has proper speakers. They're excellent, and it's a damn good phone too - except for the fact there's no autofocus sensor or flash. If it had the 3.2MP camera from a K810/T650 etc then this could possibly have become the best Walkman phone on the market.
If you were choosing between the C902 and the W902, I'd go for the Walkman every day. The problem is, the average consumer doesn't get that choice because the W902 isn't widely available and may never be because they released so many handsets in close succession.
And, if they wanted to give people a proper choice, they should have released both at the same time. There's no real advancement on the W902 hardware wise, so it's a pure marketing decision to have held it back this long.

Are you sure about this? I own a C702 and it's very loud in my opinion for a Cyber-shot, but even my brother's W890's speaker is at least on par with C702 so the one on W902 shouldn't be worse IMO. |

Pure, but clever marketing I think w800 was released 3 months after k750, and both of them were bestsellers |

I had to get a refund on this phone. The battery cover bugged the life out of me. Everytime I used it I could feel the cover moving a mm or 2. I can't believe that they designed the battery cover so poor. After digging into it I see that all of the W902 phones carry this problem.
guess I'm on the hunt for another phone. Nokia anyone? |

Not quite - W902 has only 25Mb internal memory as opposed to C902's 160. |

notice how he says "in another casing", memory has nothing to do with it. |

They are quite similar apart from the bigger screen (instead of touch-keys), the smaller memory, the music keys (instead of sliding camera) and the software... |
