The interesting thing with w810 is that you don't here a hiss when you start the walkman. It's as if they turned off the output until you start playing a song. But the "hiss" is still there. All you need do to here it is play a song that starts off quietly. A good choice is a song that fades in and out. Play it at lowish volume. Queens bohemian Rhapsody is a good one - as it fades in and out at the beginning it sounds more like it crackles out. Once you become aware of it you will hear it in more and more songs. I can't describe it in any other way - you have to pick it up for yourself. I've been using my modded driver for weeks now and definitely do not have the problem anymore. Most of the earlier modded drivers posted in this forum do not fix the issue. The shame for w810 users is that you can not use FAR to fix the issue. |

@mongoose3800
Which is your latest PHF driver, Loud V2 or some other?
Also, is the "earpiece" driver in the "best profile" different from the one posted here? I tried the one from this topic, but it sounds awful when you make a call. |

Loud V2 is my latest. If you have a prob downloading it PM your email address and i'll send it to you. I'm happy sticking with the orig "earpiece" driver. I can't remember if I posted a different one. I know I quickly played with it. |

Guys i know you can say "go back some posts and read it", but I've already done that..
But i'm kinda lost .. Mine is a w800i with r1bd001 FirmWare. Can i use those files ?? Is it necessary to Download all files (aksd firsts and mongoose3800) ?? All in order ?? Or if i put only "PHF_2_play.apf.LOUDV2" i can get it working ?? I was reading page by page ... but i started getting confused ... Could somebody "Clear" it for me ??
I think i've downloaded all the file here, but i really don't know how to use them. i have to put all of them ?? is there any order ?? Puting just one i'll get it working?? Bah ...
Sorry but i really got confused. Here is my e-mail (chakme@gmail.com), if someone think it's not necessary to post about it again, please send it by e-mail. I'll be very pleased !! And sorry for this long Topic ... =(
Hugs

@tosinv, i've tried both but to my surprise it has crackling sounds, hissing was not really prevented. anyway it's just based on my experience don't know about the others. but right now i'm using the BEST acoustic drivers. it is the best i've tried really!

Bono bel. You didn't delete everything in the acoustic folder did you? The Best acoustic files are not the full suite and they are not the best either. So, if you did delete everything you would probably have had troubles. In any case you should have backed up the entire acoustic folder before doing anything. In fact I reckon you backup the whole lot. By doing this you can always restore your phone to the previous state. |

The files on from TopSony appear to have been copied directly from here. Their Version 2 file is my 1st LOUD driver (which still has a hiss). Their version 3 file is my Loud V2 file (This file is the file I consider to be the best of all drivers). The last file (V6) is the driver I posted with a lower volume and no hiss (which is a slightly modded R1L file). It would be nice if they provided some credit to where they copied these files from.
