lol we will see, Im guna have to pick it up in a few days as ive never even used it before lol, but I am THE MAGIC MAN!!!!!!!!!!

im running a macbook pro and its a beast, 100gb hd, 2gb ram, 2ghz, 256mb gfx card, very shiny then I got it backed up with 2 printers, 500gb of external disc space, tv, 16 usb posts 20" screen 2.1 (soon to be a 200w system) mighty mouse, wireless mouse and 5 button MS mouse lol. I highly recomend it lol

Ooooo something bad has happened i was downloading a 3.1gb torrent in aquisition right and when i have got back from work it has done 1.2gb of the file but just says connecting and it has been like this for 10 minutes now.
Do you think it has stalled the application is still responding, do you think if i quit aquisition it will pick up from were it left off, i am too scared to do this lol as it has taken 2 days just to get this far and i don't want to have to start it again.

ermm i had that problem with acquistion, i jsut shut it down and reopened and all was good
you shouldnt loose any info...

No there are 5 seed's i checked i have lost downloads before and it is so annoying especially when they are this big.
Luke a little tip download each episode individually it is alot quicker i had house md season two but i deleted it lol god knows why.
Yup new name want to keep everything the same so miss has been banished lol although you can still call me it.

PS... is there any type of housekeeping i need to do ie? do i need to ckech for spyware at all?

I know it is, although i couldnt find each episode individually because house seems rare (atleast on the torrent sites I saw) so I have to download theam all at once. 8.21 gb which is crazy and very slow (currently at 74.1% and doing a adverage of 1kbs is anything...)

I average about 20kbps now atleast when i am not browsing the net otherwiise it is between 7-10kbps.

got the g4 today.. its got OS10.2 so nothing special until next week when tiger comes

right I have one hear for the master, I have my mighty mouse, but its pissing me right off because all you can do is use the dashboard etc!
Is there anyway to program buttons 3/4 to do things like back? I really need to find this out otherwise I gota sell this thing.

Don't you just go into System Prefs., then click Mouse & Keyboard, and you should be able to configure the buttons in there. If not, just use the finder to help you...
On a similar question though, this may seem pretty stupid, but I can't get the trackpad on a Macbook Pro to double-clcik when I double-tap the pad. The button thing annoys me, so this is quite important. Any help would be great!
