I also wanna know if theres anyway I can learn how to mod a cam driver. Is there a tutorial or something like that. I don't wanna haveta keep bothers you guys and I wanna be albe to mod my own drivers. I would be really grateful if someone could help me out here!

yes, that looks right.. give it a try.  and yes, I think CID36 phones do indeed take better pictures than the newer CID49 ones.

if you set the picture quality mode to Normal, then you will have a quicker ENM. if thats not quick enough, then try using just EM (turn off nightmode) and see if that is good enough for you. Remember, this IS a phone, and you are going to have to wait through the longer exposure to get a better shot.
i still dont understand why people want the digital zoom that badly.. you can always just zoom it on the phone itself after you take the picture and get Exactly the same quality (which is not that good), or use your computer to zoom if you want.
moved on to the Nexus One..  needs a better Android  |

look at page 259 - there is proper link but it's normal driver. i did not release supermode driver yet

Thx Sarmad ... I will test this on several drivers. Now I only need the "original" camdriver from a unbranded K750i CID49 R1DB001 for testing.

CID36 phones did take better pictures than the newer CID49 ones: more overall sharpness especially outdoor in daylight. But when I take a look at other pictures take by board-members, then I have the idea that sometimes ago SonyEricsson decreased the qualitiy of the cam module.
I really have a steady hand and I often shoot pictures in same place and condition: quality decreased with newer firmwares on CID36 and decreased more with new CID49...
here for discussion some old pics from my old K750i (R1AA008 prgCRX125952_EU_1_CL 4.5) taken with original driver in fine quality:

@Randolph Those are really good pics.. I'm wondering, which of all these modded drivers are based on the original 4.5 camera driver?
And to all, does anyone have a working .vkp patch that moves the drivers' location to card? I've tried one, copied all the drivers to /card/drv first, then after i flashed the main firmware and started the phone, the screen was all blank, though the sounds were working. |

@ F-Lexx ... I thinkt that the internal hardware has much more influence on picture quality then we think. I presume, that SonyEricsson has cut down the camera quality because they also want to sell cameras.
Think about that these pics were shot with old firmware and standarddriver.

Oh ... perhaps I did not write it clearly: These pics were made with my old K750i CID36 -> phone was changed because joystick did not work. New phone is red CID49 and quality of pics is no so good. overall sharpness and quality of colors decreased. |
