Hello, quick question. I am off to the Philippines next Monday. I am going to Manilla for a few days then down to Ilo Ilo city. I am not able to get Philippine Pesos now in time for my journey but have been told that American dollars are just as good and are accepted everywhere. Is this true?

@dr.high5- you can have your us dollars changed at the malls, like shoemart megamall or in iloilo. They've got better rates than banks or hotels. If you have visa mastercard or amexco, the better. Enjoy your stay!

Jowi- u can, use the ip i posted at globe gprs setting. ---high- u can go to any bank and change your dollar to peso.
