hehe! thanks guys, nice to know I was missed! I'm always here in spirit, even if I don't have time to post much. K700 is still the best picture thread!

Here's a lovely old MG I came across:

THE ANCESTRAL WARRIOR
by Chili

A storm of evil gathers
A cloud of death and fear
It feeds on pain and suffering
It thirsts for blood and tear

The ancient warrior watches
As though he were of stone
Unbeknownst to mortals
They'll live through him alone

Five hundred years have passed
Since Evil was subdued
Or so the Books narrate --
They never ceased to feud

He wonders how he'll fight
With sword, with gun, with might?
Or shall he run for office
And make them see the light....

What is it with everyone posting B&W pictures with their k700i? Most the pictures i look at are in B&W, does it imporve the quality or something?

@twix - There are plenty of coloured photo's on this thread mate. I happen to like b&w as do plenty of the guys posting here. As with the K750/W800 the K700 takes a nice b&w shot. My post above as been through a photo package. If you look closely you will note that everything is b&w apart from the little indicator on the side of the car. So in this particular case I altered the picture from colour to achieve this particular effect.

Here's the original

Yes I'm also a little dissapointed sometimes with the camera, but it's a vga and as such with good light conditions it can still produce very nice pictures taking into considersation thats it's only 640x480 piexels

@eskay - I appreciate that things have moved on, nobody would argue with that, I myself use a w800. However, there are a lot of people still using the k700, I still use one to take a few pictures to post here. One of this threads regular posters 'chili' has said that the k700 is still his prefered devise.

This thread is still very active with regular posts from guys using the k700 as their main device and more active than the w800 thread i also post in. The K700's history ?? not quite yet my friend

@jojo - no, not Ninoy. Definitely not. I believe he preferred wearing a shirt and trousers instead.

@marlon - Said like a longsuffering kindergarten teacher, buddy. Max's pics of the old MG car made me think -- What if someone came up to the owner of that car and said, wake up, we don't use those old cars anymore.

And the guy who came up to the owner was riding in a cheap Daewoo. And of course I'll snap a pic of that scene with the caption (in italics): "This message was shouted from a Daewoo."
