I can only imagine that this is a very early prototype. SE tends to use the same body design for similar phones, i.e. look at the W300 protype which was just a Z530 with a  logo scribed on the back cover. The camera shutter button does throw me off a bit though.
But what I really think is, that this is a half truth. I find it interesting with the news of an upcoming announcement, which could very well be a number of UIQ phones, that suddenly a leak comes out about Elena. These photos were taken 9 days ago.
Have a look at the closeup of the camera:
A) It doesn't look quite right around the edges.
B) The transition over the lens cover seems very un-realistic.
C) If it were real, it's held on by screws
So the person could be duped into thinking that it's Elena, when it's probably Lizzy. So I reckon it's Lizzy with a little addon to throw us off SE's trail.
UPDATE:
- Added the 5MP clamshell rumour even I doubt it is real. Probably a misinterpretation of Irina.
- Fixed announcement date (thanks to those who pointed it out!).

I think that about the 3.2 MegaPixels logotype is just an optic efect like the Samsung OLOGRAPH logotype. |

If it was really wouldn't it have the f length and ratio like every other SE phone . Also it doesn't say autofocus on it. |

You people suspect too much.
The reason why the bottom part of the words 3.2 mega pixels is funny is all to do with the refraction of light that's all. Sort of why does the top right part of the black circle have a bright line on the edges while the bottom left is just pure black?

As for the screws part, it's not screws... It's just two parts sticking further out so that when you place the phone on it's back, those two thingy will be what's touching the surface and not the camera's lens.

the picture is definitely real. The refraction of light is someting to point out just like what "dxreaper" said.
The bottom of the back of the phone does say SE123(most of the old protos is like that) and the lighting of the corners of the logo are the right direction which the light comes from the top while the bottom of the phone is reflected with Orange light.
If you think the SE123 is also fake, then take a look at the M600i buttons and tell me what color of light does the button reflect? an Orange light also! I don't think anyone would take much of their damn time to make such a perfect FAKE picture. All the fake pictures we've seen all look like trash and you could actually tell by an instance, but this is definitely real, just an early prototype before changing the masking of the camera. |

im sure many will like what is shown. But then of course there will be some who dont like because they have waited so long but they will feel the phones werent worth waiting for.....

it's a job well done really
not able to test the noise-reduction performance though, which overshot in previous firmwares just like the N73
but, SE will have something similar, plus a xenon flash
and more pocketable

Although the pic as a whole looks good,but sharpness and noise are poor for such a flagship phone imho,at least in these pic's..
and yes its a job well done as a whole package..

Never said it was a photoshop. It's probably just a black plate that's been screwed on IMO. If it was a real camera area the battery cover would close around it, not under it wouldn't it? And the camera lens doesn't look like a camera lens doesn't it; it's looks like a hole...

its crazy when you think that SE is giving us all that supsens for 1 or 2 models per year while samsung and nokia are releasing 2 mobiles every month!
Quality vs quantity OK but there is a minimum for competing too,SE is going backward rather changing their strategy to beat other popular brands,I think that even apple after 2 years will give more phones than SE.
Added to this SE didn't really changed their menu since the T68!!!

I dont know why do you ppl want they to change the menu... Its by far the best in the nonsmartphones. They´ve been improved the menu since t68i little by little and that is good. The only problem i see is that now SE is releasing much more phones than 3 or 4 years ago and they all got the same menu and in particular for about a year they dont add any new feature to it |
