i flashed and updated my k800i last night from RED CID49 to CID52 and then installed the newest firmware R1KG001. (30.04)
All worked without a problem. I needed 2 credits and used Wotan Client running on XP under Bootcamp on my macbookpro.
phone is running much better now... |

I have to use Bootcamp too, as Parallels desktop USB support is not stable enough for flashing, it's failed before...
About time there were some Mac apps to do this, I assume if SonyEricsson release a Mac app, then others would follow as they seem to use the SonyEricsson driver. |

OK, just flashed my beloved old fellow K800i to APAC R1KG001 via Wotan. I get my Bahasa Indonesia again...what a relief after a month in EUROPE 5 CDA. All works just fine. Just wonder, is it already out on SEUS for APAC users? Time will tell, then... |

Is there any chance of a similar thread for the K810i? |

The firmware of K810i is similar to K800i as it is of the same platform. |

Once I had Wotan frozen. Just unplugged it and repeated the action. It was just fine after that. |

Well done. Wotan is always the best. By the way, did you get the strange 1E0W or 99E0W under your customisation info? I find a way to make it gone away actually..no more that 'silly' string on my phone. |

To eliminate 1E0W or 99E0W or any E0W when using Wotan Server is very easy actually.
- Always remove SIMCard and M2 before flashing
- After flashing is completed, take out the battery for some time.
- insert it back.
- REMEMBER: NEVER putting back the SIM Card and M2 after the above step.
- Turn on the phone and wait until 'Please wait' bar is totally completed.
- you have two options now, Normal or Flight Mode. Choose either option.
- turn off the phone.
- insert the battery and M2 back now.
- turn on the phone again.
- voila..check, NO strange 1E0W, 99E0W or else under customisation.
It's actually there, implicitly stated in Getting Started Guide by Wotan Server. It was my carelessness in the past that I wasn't aware of such important steps above..hope it helps. |

People tend to impatiently insert the M2 and SIMCard as soon as the flashing is completed WITHOUT WAITING the 'please wait' bar completes itself. So, always remember this. I made the same mistakes several times until I realized it and happened to know it by accident. Stupid me LOL. |

Guess what, your warranty doesn't void although you flash it 100 times by using Wotan SE won't see any 'clue' at all as the firmware info is 100% the same.. |
