Just updated my sim free XZ1 to 14.1.G.2.257 via Sony Update Service. There was nothing showing on PCC or OTA but plugging into SUS prompted and update. Don't know if there are any other operator branded firmwares on there but if you are still waiting it might be worth a look

really though.. can any one really believe that we are getting so many updates so quickly after release? first Z1 was released just a month after announcement.. and we've already gotten 2-3 updates already just 2 months later. Just 1 or 2 years ago, we were waiting months for ONE update.
It's great to know they are working so hard to get the most out of the Z1. I really hope the rumors zomg said were true and look forward to january..

its 800mb!! Just finished mine. They had 3 different z1 chooses, I just chose the "Z1". What are the other 2? First impressions of 14.1.G.2.257 is that it seems to respond faster to scrolling. Also there is now a vertical roll up when the matrix for the apps is pressed.Camera seems to open faster |
