As I said, I don't have problems with file transfers, but I am not using W800 but K750i. So maybe this bug you are describing is W800 specific. |

hi everyone i found something when u run ma3platform.exe directly from the seus2 install location (D:\Program Files\Sony Ericsson\Update Service) u will get the EMMA 3 login screen and u can register from that also and u get directly into the firmware update. |

when you register, does it matter what address I use? will that affect what firmware I get? (I am in US, can I just put in my real info?) |

I use k750 and i have no troubles with transfering files from/to Phone via usb. It doesn't matter, whether i copy one/two files which have large size, or copy a lot of files with a small size. |

An update to the "macromedia flash player not installed" problem: we have found out, that you also get this error if you have the windowblinds graphical mod istalled on your windows, even if you have macromedia flash player correctly installed.

Yes, just to let others know, I have W800i Hong Kong version with R1AA008 updated @ the Service Center and also have this bug. I have a 1 Gig Memory stick (Sandisk Ultra II)and I can 100% reproduce this error when I copy 200Mb+ data (mp3s and pictures) from the phone's memory stick to the PC and not the other way around. Anyways, here are the info and I hope it helps others diagnose the problem as well. |

SE is starting to piss me off now. First the can't even fix some bugs in two months time. then the firmware was delayed. Then it works but not for 02 (dutch) phones. And now they say the server is busy. Rang SE, and told them the server is not busy at all, just not in the air. "that might be the case" the woman said :S, "but you can update your phone at a flash point". So i told her that i rang the flashpoint a week ago and that they didnt have any software for W800/ K750 yet.
"They will have it now" the woman replied. So i rang the flashpoint again. Guess what? NOTHING.
SE lost a very good customer here, when i buy an expensive phone i expect it to work! NEVER SE AGAIN.

The server is not busy at all, when i download the SEUS, i get a nice 1000 kb/sec.
Very weak of SE as well not to just explain what is going on on their website and not to keep us up-to-date of the situation. They just expect us to check the server every hour? F*ck it! |
