@bart hedvig is worth for that price, but dont forget, its a proto, it can die anytime, no chance to solve bugs or get new batt. u should try the fone first!

Once i tried an antenna of T29 to T39m. Result: zero bars! The normal and short antennas of T 39 gave some bars in T29. Best result in T39 with an short one plus a booster tape. Even z1010 likes a booster! Hello from a warm beech. I miss my T39 and it's good screen on sunshine! My nokiafriend called me and his microphone sounded horrible. Like a sick parrot!

I have justb tried thye same antenna experiment. They both get perfect reception with the antennas swapped. They do look a bit odd though.

Anyone who was bidding on the Hedvig should contact the seller as the phone was bought by someone who is now not registered at ebay which means the item should still be avialable.

@bart such a treasure cant be measured with money. a fone made by the master is sg very special in itself. an apart of mobile history, what serve u well and truly even after years. to turn a gh388 after so many years, clock and date are always actual, to hear the 3 short beeps when found the net etc all these transfer u to the past, when a fone was made by honorable engineers, tested in average 3 years long each models to support the user to the last...

not with the battery but with the fone.
Read this thread if you are interested http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=4394&start=0
Some T39 (specially those manufactured around week 10 2002) has a bug in the standbytime, resulting in that no matter which battery you use, you can't get over 70-80 hours in standbytime. SE has released a fix for this, so you just have to leave the phone to a servicepoint and they'll fix it in 10min
