No update here yet either, but i suspect i'll have to wait for the secondary update that was just approved.

@xperiajunkie - no, never had that issue and i've added a few apps already.

@randomuser - tripod? or tripod mount? rest assured, the one i linked definitely fits. It is snug, but i'd rather it be snug than loose

also, i gotta say. I am LOVING my DK31 magnetic charging dock. It's awesome and with smartconnect integration, it's even better. My texts are read aloud which means it so easy to use and i have it go into daydream mode once on the dock with google currents. The imagery is gorgeous and looks amazing on the screen! Some samples of the different views that it goes through. These pictures aren't great. I didn't spend any time trying to get an accurate reproduction but you get the idea

Yep, no update here either......

As a side note, after purchasing my Z1, I haven't read the rumour thread as religiously as I have the past 5 years. Actually read it once every few days now. Feel that the Z1 will be my phone for a long while..... unless SONY has something in very near future that can literally wow me more than the Z1 did.

@moogoo Thanks for the links to the tripod and the mount. Looks like a great accessory for my vacation since it can also support my soon to be new A7! Though I'm still having a hard time deciding between the A7 and A7R, should've pre-ordered both, but didn't.......

@mnx - no problem man. you should check out the ultrapod II, it's a bit sturdier but i believe it has the same pocketability features. price is a few bucks more. I'm so jealous that you're getting an A7.. i am still surviving with my nearly 10 year old Nikon D70s

the 259 update is apparently only for carriers and not unlocked devices, but that is yet to be confirmed.

just cause you post doesn't mean there's someone sitting here waiting to respond to you immediately. be patient if you want an answer and also, silly questions get silly answers.

to answer your question.. HAHAHAHA

@Nodarsixar. Try it!
Make a good backup of everything. Search for the driver/app.
Install it and you'll know. Maybe you need to change some coding.
good luck, keep us informed.

so i was poking around on amazon and was a bit surprised the Z1 has dropped almost $100 USD in price some retailers are selling it for just $660..

it's only been a month.. i'm a little sad the price has dropped so much, but I suppose for a 2nd half of the year flagship refresh, that's to be expected..

still an amazing device though.. and i don't regret getting it early at all

@moogoo I've found the same, my wife kindly pointed out that she had found my phone for £60 cheaper and I've only had it for 3 weeks still I don't regret buying it
