Hmm! Interesting spot there vivftp. But quite frankly this is the first time I've read about Sony wanting to acquire ST-Ericsson. And personally I would say it isn't gonna happen. ST-Ericsson acquisition would mean churning close to 1.5-2 billion dollars.
They shouldn't acquire them imo but strengthen their relationship. HTC have qualcomm, samsung themselves, Motorola TI and Sony could use ST-ericsson. They have great stuff in the pipeline, 9600 and 8540 |

That hint from rog sounds very good. Near enough everyone thinks the GX is a great looker. Now it seems it's nicer looking brother / sister is due to make an appearance.

Vita's quad core chip was designed by Sony/IBM/Toshiba and is Sony owned design... people forget how big Sony usually is... they spend 6 billion on R&D every year, Samsung and Apple only recently started doing that. |

Yea definitely. St-Ericsson could bring their expertise in modems though. Nova 9600 is a monster and will easily beat the vita quadcore. Sony should have made a phone with the vita soc+a modem in early 2012 to be competitive |

I wonder, with that price different between Hayabusa and Mint, could it be that Mint will have S4 Pro? |

Can anyone confirm if we will see any EMEA 4G phones announced this year? (I mean proper 4G, no HSPA+).

I've found this document, it's pretty interesting, you can find there pretty every Sony / SE codename in history and a few surprises... Like SK19i (seems like a cancelled ray pro) or MT18i (should've been called Neo S), and of course all the unknown codenames, like Arc S, which is Ayame

Pictures? Hmm, well it seems like you are unable to directly share this info rog so could you at least answer a couple of questions?
Is this something we should be excited about? I guess yes based on your comments thus far.
Is this excitement regarding only aesthetics, or specs too?
Have we already heard of the device you are hinting at?
Should we expect to see it at IFA? Your statement about 2 weeks would possibly put it after IFA.
There we go, some nice generic questions where you would not have to give away specifics. Now IF you want to go into details then by all means. If you can't then please answer the above questions |
