I want my k750 updated into R1AA.
MOVE IT SE.
I just can't wait all day long in front of my pc ,clicking update servece icon,watching that dim dim animation for 100 times and at last the "sever busy" message. |

You see, thats the main problem, 'cos every dumb K750i/W800 user, sits at his computer and is trying to update every 5mins. No wonder that the server is overloaded.
Just relax, go on a smoke  open up a beer and wait, they will fix it ... Just try update only ones a day.
[I know this is easy to say for someone who allready has his phone updated, but hey, u waited a few months for new FW, whats another few hours/days] |

There is defenatly some big F**k up at SE.
Sometime yesterday, I looked at the UK site and it had a link to donw load the SEUS2, then later on in the day they had changed it back to SEUS1.
They really need to sort this out, customer service with SE as to be one of the worst. Sending out software that doesn't work and they have to recall. Only problem for me now is that because I've had SEUS2 installed on my comp SEUS1 won't work. |

Well to be honest I doubt the reason the "Server Too Busy" message shows up has nothing to do with the amount of people downloading.
They have just taken it offline as I cant see that anyone updated yesterday and surely 1 or 2 people would be able to if it was actually up.

seeing some ppl say bugs in transferrin from phone mem to pc, i think i will sit and wait for everyone's opinion on that bug and some other listed bugs, as i have had no problem in transfer using R1N035, so i will just wait anyways i haven't installed the new seus update yet, cheers to all havin the new firmware and others also waiting for the upgrade, i wont be updating for the time being.
should i or should i not? that is the question. |

i dunno about you guys... dont rush into things will yah... just like ive said.. wait till the dust settles then off you go. since everyone is into this upgrade. surely any server with some gigabyte bandwidths can be clogged especially if more than half the world access that server. wot am pointing here is... all of the reviews with the said new FW is still raw. we havent heard much about the in & outs... just keep yer pants on... and dont forget, once you have this new FW, theres no turning back except with DVT and other 3rd party software. so be sure you review all the pros and cons before jumping to it... and cursing SE in the process... that aint fair...

All very interesting. Yesterday when I tried to update with SEUS2 I kept getting server busy errors. But Eventually it worked. Despite the new bug with transferring from the phone I'd rather have R1AA008 than R1N just for the increased volume in the earpiece. And for those doubters - there really is a big bug when transferring from the phone!!! It is pretty poor that this bug has gone one step further by causing the phone to reset when transferring from phone memory. This is the most unforgiving part of this f#$k up. I have a complaint in with SE that has been escalated to a "case Manager" - I can't wait to talk to him/her. People using the digital camera features of the phone will be even more annoyed as transferring pics from the phone is going to be a pain in the arse until a fix comes around. I think SE are going to be overloaded with calls after Xmas when people find out that their gift is buggy. |
