The T28s had a dual colour LED. When the phone is charging or the battery is low it is Red. When the phone has a signal and ok it is green. Thats how mine works anyway.
|
|
Ours go:
-solid green when charging
-blink red when batt low
-blink green when signal normal
-no light when no signal |

In that formfactor, have bought AH237, GH337, GH388... great stuff.
Solid like-a-tank construction, could use them as a hammer/nutcracker
if necessary
But I think they'd have cost Ericsson A MINT to build each unit.
They are so different in philosophy compared to Nokias (built cheap).
Like comparing a 1980s Mercedes to a latemodel Daewoo.
Killed a Nokia 3315 the other week by putting it into my butt pocket
and sitting down - just once! Hell, ALL my Ericssons have survived
the weight of my butt... |

No already right!
T28s LED is solid green when charging and handset is switched on.
LED is solid red when charging and handset is switched off - LED chang to green when battery is fully charged.
On the picture T28 is switched off and connected to charger:
Therefor everything is okay! LED is solid red because battery isn't chargered completly.

BTW.: Anyone still remember this little freaky alien:

yep, in the picture the phone was off and charging thats why light was red.
my t39 is beige (rose white) so I think i'll also get the beige facia. problem is the local ericsson service center no longer has stock of the antenna (which is color coordinated with the facia) so if i change the color i'll get stuck with this old antenna which will not match the new color. also, they no longer have the back frame. do you guys know where i can order these parts (antenna and back frame) from online? thanks.

Once i tried an antenna of T29 to T39m. Result: zero bars! The normal and short antennas of T 39 gave some bars in T29. Best result in T39 with an short one plus a booster tape. Even z1010 likes a booster! Hello from a warm beech. I miss my T39 and it's good screen on sunshine! My nokiafriend called me and his microphone sounded horrible. Like a sick parrot!

EDIT: managed to find only a t39 back frame in TBH mobil but could not find a t28 one.

i do missed the longer aerial on t39. do like that r520 aerial ring is so shiny, i mean the black one. it was a great idea, that the colour of the rings was the same as of the cover, just as on t28

weird, that r320 offers u way more languages, just as other older models aswell, but t68 not. the emma packages are a great solution to save more memory in the fones, interesting thatin the mentioned models, even the packages excisted already, the master put more then usually.

The size of T39 and T28 backframe is the same BUT it's not suitable for refreshing a T28/T29.
There are some fields on the backframe for ICs and other things and they are different placed in T39 than in T28/T29.
T28 backframe should be the same as T29 backframe. Only difference is T29 backframe is black eloxated and T28 is silver-grey.
