My experience so far is great. Everything seem fine. The phone is blazing fast in every department. Internet surfing surprisingly fast compared to my previous phone.
Btw, how to upgrade the firmware without using the wireless option?

Install the PC Companion that comes with the phone and it will tell you instantly if there is an update available.
@tranced
Not that I have noticed.

SMS input is available in Landscape mode, I just checked. The keyboard overall seems to be OK. I'm coming from a C905 so nothing really to compare with.
Thanks goldenface
Does anyone know how easy it is to install new keyboard input languages?

@moogoo:
The X10 works on those bands. It's GSM quadband and 3g triband.
@se-fan: just wanted to know whether it heatens or not.
@Ricky D: when I said that I wanted to know if it heatens more depending the model(color).

@tranced
you sure? as far as i know there are two versions and the one available now doesn't work on AT&T 3G...
if i'm not wrong, x10 would need to be quadband 3G to support all bands available in the world. currently there's two versions.. x10i and x10a. x10i supports HSDPA 900 / 1700 / 2100 and x10a HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100 (what AT&T uses)

@moogoo: I've not seen an "a" variant of the X10. The portfolio shows a X10 variant only.

Edit: I said 3g triband

yea. i know you said triband. but those bands arent supported by AT&T
Perhaps they don't have it in the portfolio yet....?
there's definitely a x10a variant though.. plenty of sites have previewed/reviewed it.

Oh I was missing the 850. I see the X10 is only 900/1700/2100. My bad.
I know Orange Dominicana works on the 900
I finally recognized you were looking for the 3g and not gsm. Whoops
EDIT:
Maybe your expecting for the second one which has the 800

I am still having no joy with find out information this firmware update?
Is it just Vodafone handsets that are lacking this baseband update? Have other network carriers released the update?
