Pls note Li-Ion/Poly chemistry is different to Nicad/NiMH.

Lithium rechargeable batteries start ageing the minute they are made,
so after about 18-24mths shelflife they are lousy even if brandnew NIB.

I am currently using T28/T39 (I love their size format!!) and
today own heaps of their original slimline 500/600mAh batteries.
(Yes I stocked up on a few when I bought my first-batch T28s...)

It don't seem to matter how often they're charged or if just left unused
(charged up every 3 mths; Lithiums self-discharge pretty rapidly),
they're all just about as crap as the others.

I'm very wary of buying any new-boxed Eric batteries now...
They're all at least 3+ yrs old on the shelf - pkging got /// logo.

I might try some clone China batts soon, they should be fresher mfg.

Interesting.. i have some T39 batteries and R310s and they are all as good as new even if they are made years ago. Apparently my batteries havenīt heard of your theory..
EDIT: I donīt know if i am the lucky one or itīs you who has had bad luck.. but in my case the old/new batteries have been just fine.

i think the memory effect was a great feature in old batts and they were more stable as li ion or li pol batts.

Hi all,

as suggested by Bobafett, I'm posting here a short review of my brand new T39mc and T68ie, coming from the chinese market.

The phones had been upgraded by the sellers to the latest available firmware, R4A008 and R8A015, and I had to explicity specify the language I needed.

The keypad is the chinese one too, obviously. There's a sign in the numeric keys that should be the chinese number character, I guess.

The T68 came with the Lunar Grey cover, but I bought an Adriatic Blue one too, that I'd never seen here in my country, since At&t is not one of the available network providers.

There's nothing more to say about the phones. I prefer the T39, is quite confortable in my chemise pocket, and the display can be easily seen under the sun light.

The pictures are not the state of the art... And I don't know how this reply will look like... I did everything using my P800 and Opera!

Cheers.

Now I know... Opera & P800 did a great job, but the picture, taken using a N6600, are crappy.

Nice but I count four new ones.
I'm glad that I'm only collecting GSM handsets. Let's see what will come in future and if my bank will raise my dispo. My wife would kill me if she knew what I'm going to do.

Quite difficult question.
For home use I prefer my P800 (yes I know it's SE) because of the big screen and my wap flatrate.

Just from the colour I think the R600 luminous champagne is the best ever made.

Design ... the T2x, T3x series.

Best show effects: the R310, because you can earn some money sitting in a pub and betting how a mobile would look like if you place it in a mug of beer.

Allday usability: The R520! No other /// could reach the great mixture of design and business features. I like it more than the T39 because of the bigger screen.

As landline modell I use 4 TH688 at DECT mode. All function you need and with an old SIM inserted quite a huge phonebook.

Outside with some friends I like my SH888 with TEMS pocket firmware, searching and inspecting the signal quality.

Actually I'm on the T10 with a high bid, but I think I'll take it back near so you can make it.
T68 would be great for me and I'll place bids on it instead.
R520 ... I can't promise but maybe we will have to fight. (at first I have to talk to my wife *grin*)

very kind of you to step down from the T10sc.
i know i could be hitting myself about the T68 next week, but like i said before i can't have it all.

I would read it as if it's not working but anyway quite nice and maybe the only chance to get one.
I only know one person who owns a working one, but he is straight to Ericsson order, not to sell or give away these handsets.
