hey DJLG...in your pic with the candle, how did you get the background to focus while the candle remains blurry?

Probably this way:

1. Point on a distan object.
2. Half press.
3. When focus is locked, move the camera to the candle.
4. Full press.

hmmm...i think this only works on proper digital cameras such as Cybershots etc...my guess would be that the candle is VERY close and the flame is too bright which renders the candle out of focus but the background is in focus...just an educated guess.

Since the camera has autofocus, when the half-press has finished focusing, if you were to move the phone, it would not refocus (as it believes it has just finished), so you would be able to do that, then just fully press.

Great photos and tips there gseth! Especially impressive is the macro photo! When is part 2 coming - I would love to see how VideoDJ works?
