On my old RS-232 cable (drs-11) the cable connector was plugged on to the whole bottom connector on the phone, but you could still charge the phone by inserting the charger in the cable connector (drs-11). that was simply genious.
I hope that they have done something like that on this one too. When you plug the whole charger e.g to the phone connector, you could still plug the handsfree on the charger connector or something like that. Again bad english, sorry guys!
@batesie
I know that on S700 u can have both the charger and the handsfree connected at the same time, but S700 uses the old connector (infact every Ericsson and Sony Ericsson have that). But on this phone it is a new connector.
@govigov & rhino8
U will still need to plug the handsfree to the phone to listen to radio, because the handsfree cabel is used as a antenna

let me tell you, Nokia is the one who has the most stupid connectors. Their so called pop-up port is so useless. If you just touch the connector, it pops out! you are thinking of the old Nokia models, but they are also history now |

Imo, nokia connectors in 3310 are the best! Very practical.

You are right, but theyre not used anymore. If I'm not wrong Nokia 3100 was the last to have that old connector or just the low-prised one have them. The mid- and highrange phones do now use the pop-up port. |

technically, it's possible, but they're not gonna do that. It's too difficult, because the charger cord leads to a transformator for 230 V (PAL - Europe) and this current will interrupt the radio signal... |

Nice to see that instead of pointing out his idiotic remark to the public, you PMed him.
Very Mature.
Should learn to do that sometimes. |
