I did Master Reset - All - and the languages are BACK and surprisingly ALL date remained in the phone!! (R3K004) |

hey tomcat probably no one knows how to help you. i can't even get seus to start in my pc and when i take the phone to my friend's laptop it works..so try using another pc.. |

Have you tried the latest version of Java? Download it from java.com. It might help.

hf.path seems to be some kind of a file that should be there on C: , but it's not present on my hard disc, and I don't recall deleting any files of that extension. Does any one have that file, know what's it for, and if I can use it if someone sends it to me via e-mail ???

Hey all,
Does anyone know where I can get my phone flashed and get the latest firmupdate in South California... I live in San Deigo...
I do not have a big issue with this firmware, the only problem is accessing certain sites and downloading ringtine and other material... keeps telling me not suitible for my device... my firends phone on the other hand works good (he has the latest update)

You should try to install the java from www.java.com.
and Internet Explorer (firefox doesnt work with the online upgrade) |

How can i check the software on my phone so i know its up to date? In FMA or something? If it is out fo date, how do i go about updating it? Thanks in advance
Also, if there is a later version of what was posted in the VERY FIRST post can someone please post it now, i really cant be botherd searching for it through 26 pages of posts, lol.

Now that setool has suspended its credit system according to posts I have read how elsecan I debrand my o2 s700i and get the latest firmware from the SEUS. I have heard of davinci but some folks having issues with it not changing the cda number etc.
Any advice. |

I'm in exactly the same situation. Just got a dss-20 only to discover can't use the online update  Could anyone recommend the best (and possibly cheapest. lol) way to upgrade o2 s700i?

Hi.
I have tried to update my girlfriends S700i , and got that ugly message "error" with com or something like that , and the phone was dead.
I made a recovery and now the phone works , but there is no T9 now , its gone , and I have tried a normal update , with no errors , but same result no T9.
What is wrong?
I have tried a "reset all".
I have updated my and 2 others K700i with no problems , so I dont know what is wrong.
plz help.

Mine worked fine when I updated it using SETool.
Now running R3K004 quite happily, a couple of my files on the phone were lost but I can easily put them back on.
Does anyone know of what actually was updated on R3K004 or was it mainly bug fixes? I'm hoping theres a website out there that lists what changes in each firmware release. |
