Battery also drains quickly if a lot of software installed is open.....

yup, or significant bluetooth useage, java, music with external speaker or talking.

Taking photos and listening to music with the headset is far less batt hungry than the above uses.

Leaving the charger plugged in while the phone isnt is awful for the charger - ex who was an electrician always used to kill me..

In reply to max wedge; with reference to charging the battery straight from the box. Any good electrical engineer will tell you that it is best to drain the battery when the phone is still brand new. This is because the little bit of charge that is on it has normally been obtained from it only being charged for a short while (no more than about 15 minutes) in the factory prior to it being dispatched.

At times i feel worried..

I just got my cell 20 days back.. W810i...and my battery doesnt last a day..!!

I mean it doest gets discharged on its own.... But i am like some 7-8 hrs online in day..!! and the downloading and all drains the battery..!!

So sum ppl said that i shuld use it so much..it will damage my battery very early..!!

What do i do..??

you are to replace your battery after two years or less...

use it as much as you want...

... just don`t do abusive charging.

If possible, drain it out before charging...

I didn`say that you should charge it only when it drains out....

just try draining it out once in a while...

Why does sony ericsson uses Lithium Polymeer if they have to be replaced so quick?

The Lithium Polymeer battery of my T68i is now 4 years and 5 moths old and works almost like new.

Hey I happened to have one of my batteries overcharged (15hours over) and now its all bulky. What are the chances that it might explode if i continue to use it X_X?

@john74 ur weekz must fly,that sounds like a guiness record az well az ur personal.my k800i only lasts 2 dayz wit average use.

put some goggles on ben lol,never seen a mobile batt swell up n ive overcharged 2 many of em, just dont overcharge that batt again n ul b sweet
