I am not really obsessed with Antutu numbers, yet I couldn't resist running a test myself.

Guys, I am having trouble mirroring my phone to both my tv's, one of them a Sony TV from 2014 @ the other being a Panasonic. With my Z5 I had no issues pairing/mirroring content to either TV, but so far I have had no success mirroring phone to Sony TV, but strangely enough I was able to (only once) was I successful with the Panasonic. I have gone through the same process as I had with my Z5, but without much the XZ.

Any suggestions guys?

is it paired with the Sony TV? I have a 2015 and it pairs fine although mine is an Android TV.

so the gel case i got is actually not bad. it's slick on the outside so it doesn't get stuck sliding into the pocket. the cutouts are actually very well done. even have separate cutouts for the camera lens and the sensor array. i noticed a lot of them had just one big one but this one has 2, which i liked. doesn't add too much bulk either and it was cheap. might be a keeper for now. we'll see how it goes with the full coverage screen protector tomorrow..

@pt020

Im not a case guy but can you give me your take on style cover sctf10.....I actually might try it. How much bulk does it add? Do you use it more open or close? Ease of use? Do you think it might scratch the edges from frequent removal?....and anything else you care to share would be appreciated? Thxs

@moogoo my protector will be here tomorrow as well. Hopefully it fits and that I put it on correctly, lol

so i've used my quick charger to charge my xz but it doesn't seem to be "quick charging". i'm not sure why? my first time using a quick charger and quick charge enabled phone...

from 1% to 100% it's taken about 2.5 hours, which can't be right. seems like normal charging to me. anybody have any ideas?

I haven't read any of this but see if this helps. My 3.0 hasn't arrived yet.

yea i saw that. it's poorly written and doesn't say anything about having to enable the QC feature. just tells you what it says in the manual, which is to just plug in the usb cable.

did some research and apparently it does quick charge at low battery levels but throttles the amps when it gets over a certain percentage or if the phone is getting too hot. i guess it's only really useful when it's really low battery then..

@moogoo....I've seen a few places it should only take an hour.

"Speaking of charging, there is Quick Charge 3.0 included in the Xperia XZ. So you can quickly plug in your Xperia XZ and get a full charge in under an hour. We used both AUKEY and Anker’s Quick Charge 3.0 wall chargers to charge the Xperia XZ and it worked out beautifully..."

The case is very thin... it is not even 2mm more... magnet is not to keep it close but to turn screen on/off
it is easy to use and touch works well,do not think it will scrach the edges because the case is not form a hard/sharp plastic and You do not have to remove it to charge.
and on the screen you do not see any fingerprints.
The phone itself is the biggest than I ever had so for me it is a bit awkward for use... it is a good case.
The phone itself is NO better than my Z3 compact... the compact is faster and much more smooth.
The headphone are the biggest disapointment ...
Both headphones I already have (MDR-1RBT and MDR-ZX750BN) sound better.

I charged my Xperia XZ yesterday with the quick charger included to my Galaxy S7.
I don't see anything that tells me my phone is being charged with a quick charger.

The viewing angles and brightness on this display is very good especially for an IPS panel.
Also the XZ reminds of how the Arc felt in the hand. I'm not sure why that is.
