Can anyone tell me what the picture quality is like of your contacts in Timescape? I have taken some photos of my friends using this phone and assigned them to their contact details but the pictures that come up in Timescape (if for example I get a missed call) are a really bad quality, nothing like the original picture taken. Any responses/help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

Anyone?

I don't have the X10 mini yet but I think the pic quality on the contacts was intended by SE to looked that way to incorporate it to the total looked of the UI.

@ ell - Haven't really taken much notice to be honest. I don't see it as a big deal unless you can't recognise the person... As far as I can see the photo it shows is bigger than the one you see using a PC and Facebook?

@ Titus. Are you saying makes things look bad to suit the overall impression. That means that the UI is bad looking. Is it?

When I played with one today, the volume rocker at the side did not activate zoom of any kind, instead it varied the speaker volume. Didn't look at it too long but I wasn't able to get it to zoom.

Does it make the photo sound louder?
I'm sorry but there are 3pages about zoom and still no answer, I had to make some silly remarks.

No, it is not. Do you think that if photo contacts was in glorious resolution, scrolling in Timescape would still be smooth and there wouldn't not be lag just loading those photo? And if you notice, even in Desire's favorite people widget, photos aren't good as well.

The Facebook and Twitter pics look ok in Timescape, it's just the photos I've taken on my phone and assigned to contacts that look bad. You'd have thought if anything, they would look better not worse.

It's not a big deal but would just look a bit slicker if they weren't so grainy...assuming it's not just my phone that this is happening to of course.

@hihihans. There is no zoom for the camera.

Is there an app for the mini/mini pro that turns it into a Wifi hotspot? I'd rather not have to root it... as I know this can be done for the other Android devices.

TIA!
